Far and away the best tasting, best textured plain Greek yogurt on the market (and yes, I have tried them all). The only downside is that it's hard to find. Without a national advertising campaign, I guess it's hard for grocery chains to justify shelf space against the Greek yogurts brands that are well-marketed (and profoundly inferior to Greek Gods, in my experience). I notice that my local grocery chain sells out of Greek Gods within hours of restocking, so my household is evidently not the only one who prefers the unmatched quality of Greek Gods Plain Greek Yogurt.In order to obtain this product more easily, I ordered through Amazon. I was concerned, of course, because this is a perishable item. My first delivery arrived yesterday, and I could not be more impressed or happier with the outcome. The seller packed the item extremely well -- the temperature was easily "cold refrigerator" inside the carton where the product was stored. My sons enjoyed spending 30 minutes with the dry ice the seller used to keep the item cold, running all manner of experiments and tricks with it.I was a little concerned to find that the yogurt was semi-frozen. But I let it sit in the 'fridge overnight, and stirred the yogurt when I opened it, and it's delicious and indistinguishable from the taste and texture I enjoy when I purchase from the grocery store.
