I have been using cerave am and pm moisturizer, but my skin seemed to be dry at times with it so I thought I'd try something more natural without alcohol. I switched to this serum and the om botanical soft skin moisturizer at night, and still use the cerave AM in the morning. The first morning after using this serum I had some very light flaking and then the best skin I have had in years was revealed. It's glowy and moist like I just had a chemical peel, but I had none of the irritation. It looks plumper and younger. I highly recommend this serum.

I don’t like the new presentation. I prefer a sealed and pump presentation. Not a dropper. :(

Has lightened my hyperpigmentation and reduced the size of my pores. Saw a difference in just a few days and am continuing to see changes.

Firstly, a few words about the B3 vitamin in general. Niacinamide (or B3 vitamin) has many benefits for aging skin, so anyone who cares about prolonging his/her skin natural beauty, should be including this product in his/her daily routine. Known benefits are: 1) Bolsters Skin Barrier Function. Niacinamide stabilizes skin barrier function through a reduction in trans epidermal water loss (TEWL). It also increases protein and ceramide production in the top layer of the skin and speeds up skin growth and repair. 2) Improves Skin Tone & Texture. Niacinamide improves discoloration, including sun-induced spots and acne-related post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. That's because niacinamide inhibits the production of pigment-producing enzymes. 3) Fights Premature Signs of Aging. It improves the surface structure, lightens photodamaged skin, smooths out wrinkles, making it a gentler alternative to anti-aging powerhouse retinol. 4) Helps with Oily and Acne-Prone Skin. Niacinamide has anti-inflammatory properties that are helpful for acne-prone skin as it soothes inflamed breakouts and reduces redness. This specific product has light yellow color, lightweight thin texture, easily and quickly absorbed by your skin. It's stored in a dark glass container, which is great as the product is photosensitive. Keep in mind that this product has a really strong concentration of vitamin B3 (12%) and may not be good for you if your skin has high sensitivity to it. Try the product on your skin on a different part first - the inner side of the wrist for example. If you have skin redness or irritation, you may need to lower the strength of the niacinamide in your serum. Just try following these guidelines to choose the right one for you: * Less than 2% -> This is too low. You may not see the benefits of using the product. * 2% to 3% -> Controlling oil production and acne. * 3% to 6% -> Improving tone, texture, and overall skin barrier, including hyperpigmentation and dull skin. * Higher than 7% -> This is very high and may lead to irritation, especially if you have sensitive skin. The product has an excellent list of organic ingredients, which includes Aloe Vera, Vegetable Glycerin, Niacinamide (B3), Gotu Kola, Comfrey Root, Cucumber, Citrus Fiber, Plant Peptides, Guar Conditioner, Cucumber Oil, Clary Sage, Essential Oil, Vitamin E. It looks like a great a great product, but I cannot comment on effectiveness as I have used it only for a week, but I expect excellent results. I'll update this review in future as I continue to use it. Other thoughts. A quick word about pairing Niacinamide with other skin care products. Niacinamide plays well with many skin care ingredients, including antioxidants, peptides, ceramides, and retinol. When used in combination with other topical antioxidants and/or serum peptides (including vitamins C, E, B5, and tranexamic acid) the healing effects of the niacinamide can be enhanced. Niacinamide also works notoriously well with hyaluronic acid and polyglutamic acid. *** Bottom Line *** Yes, I do recommend this niacinamide face serum. It seems to be a great product. It's easy and quickly absorbed by your skin, high concentration makes it more effective (if your skin allows it). The dark glass container is great as the product is photosensitive. And it's made in the USA. It would give this product 5 stars right away but due to the fact that it does not list neither manufacturing nor expiration date I'm taking off one star. Pros: 1) Great list of organic ingredients. 2) High concentration makes it more effective. 3) Easy and quickly absorbed by your skin. 4) Dark glass container preserves it well. Cons: 1) Couldn't find expiration date.

Love it ! It really works!

I have been using this for the last few weeks. I didn't notice a reduction in my pores. Instead, I feel like my pores appeared larger. However, despite this, I do think my pores are cleaner/clearer. I have continued to use it. I will continue to use it to see if my dark spots lighten up and if there are any changes to my pores. So far, I have not experience any irritation or flaking. There is a slight scent to it but it doesn't last. Once I put it on, the scent goes away. The product itself is a little on the thin side. I feel like it is closer to a water consistency than an oil consistency. I find myself using a bit more than asked to cover my face. I will continue to use to see if there are any other changes.
