Totally fine box for a give away, great price
It is totally OK - I mean it is a fine box but yeah as some other reviews mention it is a little “cheap” feeling, but for how low price this box is to begin with I feel like this is totally ok. Really it isn’t bad, since I got it for my boyfriends custom 3D printed ring, it wasn’t like super important the box level of quality even though I can be a little bit of a perfectionist, but of course he didn’t even notice and even commented on what a nice box! So for a giveaway box that gets looked at for 30seconds then tossed in the corner (until the next holiday I need to wrap something) it is totally of fine quality, wood is fine, it was just like the lacquer felt cheapy to someone picky like me, but totally was boyfriend approved 😆

GIFT RING BOX
I purchased this to put a ring in for my granddaughter who is turning 13. It is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for.

I'm 90% certain this box is made of plastic
This box sure looks like plastic to me, and when I tap it with my fingernail it sounds hollow. It is sturdy enough and has a decent hinge, so if you don't mind that it's (probably) plastic and has a cheap lining, it would be OK. I wanted a box in which to present a family heirloom engagement ring, and this one is definitely not high enough quality. I should have known from the low price.
