My Little Pony Rainbow Dash and New Student Fashion Doll

I am an adult collector and I have been waiting for months for the price to drop on this and another set, and the one that I finally got is disappointing. While the package is sealed and everything is in its place inside, I noticed the same issue as another reviewer where there is production grime on the figures and Rainbow Dash's wing has a flattened section on it where it wasn't "finished" and rounded out properly at the factory.Even worse is the crappy paint job. There is overspray on Tank the turtle; Rainbow Dash's eye has missing paint from the last upper eyelash; the white dots of her eye are misaligned; the sclera (white of the eye) is jagged; and the blue of her cutiemark has been smeared on the lower left into the white of the cloud. The non-display eye is also misaligned where the black is noticeably closer to the snout and lower on the face so the eyes are cockeyed. Sandbar is kind of asymmetrical, too, but doesn't appear as bad as Rainbow Dash. His cutiemark, however... The rear legs of the turtles are coming out of their backs. It's supposed to be a top-down view of the three turtles so they look awkward.These are not small details, either, so the fact that it was done so poorly amazes me. Hasbro didn't do a good job in making sure the paint was somewhat decent. Granted, I have no intention of unboxing them, but even if I don't the collectible rating has been impacted by careless manufacturing. While kids may not care, I do, especially for a set that seems to be in really limited supply. This was released in 2018 and only now was being sold on Amazon at MSRP by one seller.It's super disappointing that they were not so careful in painting the figures. Other ponies from over-saturated sets do not have the same paint quality issue to the extent that these do.

I ordered a set a few months ago that was perfectly fine, but the set I received today was... disappointing. Sometimes figures have easily-removed production grime but the black 'tear' under Sandbar's eye is paint. Some mild acetone may work but you never know how it'll react with plastic. More serious is Rainbow Dash's wing. It looks like a bite's been taken out of it! It's not endemic to the figure, however. On the left is the figure I'd gotten earlier and it's perfectly fine.Ordering by mail is always a gamble with figures. If they're available locally, I'd advise going that route.

How the heck did y’all manage to damage the box when it was the only one y’all had left..... Other than that product is perfect.
