If you're the only one eating cereal and it takes a month to go through a box, then I recommend finding another container. If you have 3 kids that go through a box within a week, then these containers are fine. They just aren't very well sealed so it does start to get stale after about a week.The lids are loose enough that the kids can easily open themselves... but also loose enough that they they're dropped the small lid part pops open and spills cereal.Also something to be aware of is the rubber sealing is a thin rubber ring and if water doesn't properly dry in there, it can easily grow mold. So for the cheap price I'm happy with them but next time I'll look for something with better sealing.

First let me say that I did not experience the same issues other reviewers did in regards to the containers being stuck together. Mine came apart pretty easily. However, mine arrived with a broken rubber seal, but the seller was very quick with sending out a replacement (after providing some proof of course). I applaud them for that.Now I don't know how long cereal can stay open before you can begin to taste how stale they've gotten, but I had mine in this container for about 3 weeks and they still taste as fresh as when I first out them in. So I have no complaints there.They are sizable - I am able to empty one bag of a BJs (or COSTCO) sized Kellogg's Frosted Flakes cereal in there with a little bit of room to spare. The "trick" is to lightly tap the container on the table (or floor) when it gets "full" and you'll see the cereal settle making room to add some more.Before using them I had to wash them - hand washed. I have pretty slim hands so I was able to easily fit in there getting to the corners. A person with bigger hands or forearms might have some trouble cleaning inside. The rubber seal in both the cover and the container itself can be removed for proper cleaning. Note that the rubber seals don't feel very durable; so DON'T STRETCH THEM. Sorry I can't comment on washing these containers in the dishwasher as I haven't and dont plan to.While they feel pretty durable, I wouldn't go doing a drop test with this. The containers have slim sides making it easy to to grip. Bottom line is that the containers seal tight, are pretty big and feel tough. I am happy with my purchase.

These arrived in a stack with all three of them wedged together so tightly that they were impossible to get apart. I tried cold water and soap, banging on the edges with a piece of wood and nothing even came close to working. One of these was cracked on the side near the top. These would probably work great if you could separate them. It is unclear if this is a product problem or a manufacturer problem. My advice is to look elsewhere on Amazon other than this seller for what you want.

These look like nice containers - they seal on the sides with a latch so you know it's sealed! they came stacked inside one another and they stuck together and was SO hard to seperatte. had to put soap and use knives to release the vacuum. seriously didn't think we would be able to get them apart.

Love these! This fit a giant ziplock bag of cereal. I did have to put the top on and shift the cereal to allow it to settle to add the rest, but I was surprised that it held the entire bag. They are so much easier for my kids to handle and the three pack price was a steal. They were a lolittle difficult to separate upon delivery, but we are very happy with these and saved me Tupperware price.

Bought these to use for cereal. They are indented on th sides, which appears to be where one would grip the container. Unfortunately, this design does not allow the container to stand/stack well in the cupboard. The biggest issue is the pour spout. There is a overlap on the lid and pouring can be problematic. Would not purchase again. Quality is good. The design in not.

They are stuck together when you get them and are a little hard to get apart. Another reviewer mentioned putting pressure on the ends and that worked. They will fit the contents of giant size cereal box. The lids are very easy to clamp on or take off. Very happy with them!

Got the 1st 3, they would NOT separate apart from each other. Returned for a replacement - they would NOT separate. AGAIN. Waste of time. Returning these as well and am ordering from a different brand/seller.

nice and durable and great price/value (I've looked around and this was one of the best deals around!). I read some comments pre-purchase that it was hard to get the 3 containers 'unstuck', and this was true for me as well at first go, BUT then I realized there's a certain way to hold it and honestly, it all slides smoothly apart with no force. The snap on lids are great and I feel confident that when someone pours cereal out, the lid wont pop off! I will be purchasing more sets in the near future!! Like them so much, will also pick some up for gifts!

Awesome containers that fit a full family size box of cereal in them. They were really stuck together when they arrived but husband got them apart by squeezing gently. They have a good seal and seem likeThey’ll last in our crazy household. Thanks.

These containers are an ineffecient use of shelf space since they are not the same width from top to bottom.

PERFECT for Cereal! It fits a family sized box in it and I don't end up with cereal everywhere.I also love to make the kids their own snack/trail mixes and it keeps it fresh and easy to throw together for lunches. By far cheaper than all those people selling Tupperware and still the same quality!Only down side is it take a bit of finesse to separate them when the come in. I found if you squeeze the outter most one, and you can pull the one stuck in it out.

Great size! Fits a Family Size Box of Cornflakes! Got three and thinking of getting another 3. We Love our Cereal and these keep it fresh easily. I like the lid opening style. It’s round so the cereal does not just all fall out. Nice gentle taps get it out just fine and at the right amount.
