Really spacious and great cage.Update: since the cage didn’t come with any instructions or description I asked what the hooks were for and I believe this is the reason as many have answered. thanks guys!

Dont use the perches, but good buy.
Decent cage for the money if you need something in a pinch. However, I'm giving 3 stars because the perches were inexcusably off. The one for the top (when the top portion is open) was badly warped. The two for the interior were undercut by 1/2 inch causing the cage to bow out. Still a decent buy for the money. Dont expect to use the perches. Poor quality control.

The best of the 40$ cages
I know this sounds crazy, but I ordered multiple cages- this is the best as far asprice range. I wouldnt house more than 2 parakeets, 1 cockatiel.

Great starter cage once you put toys into cage it doesn't leave lots of room for bird. My lovebird really enjoyed the perch on top of cage
