Mmmmm! Better than butter!
So take some tiny red potatoes, cut them in half, cook 'em, then toss them in a tablespoonful of this duck fat, and finish them in the oven. This is the way to cook tiny spuds if you want to cook like a French chef.

Amazing flavor and benefits of duck fat
I've been researching all fats with my new keto carnivore diet interest, there are people who have lost a hundred pounds on these diets, so far I've lost 5 in the few days I've been on it, but fats are important, so are carbs on these diets, the more reading I do the more I realize I've got to stay in learning mode.....could it be true that duck fat has zero carbs and is a healthy alternative to other fats? Well, we all know the French have been cooking with it for centuries, maybe longer, and their heart disease numbers surpass U.S. big league. I'm still learning but last night I cooked a ground beef dish with the duck fat, flavor was through the roof compared to what it used to be.I'm still researching!!!

It might just be my taste buds, but this stuff did not excite me. The flavor is not pronounced enough for me and flavor is what I bought it for. But, I had to try. Don't get me wrong, it makes great fat. It's just not as extraordinary as the good comments made it out to be.

Expiration date
I earlier left a product review complaining about the expiration date, HOWEVER, I interpreted the date incorrectly. I thought it said 01/20/2017 but it stated 10/20/2017. So sorry! I love the product and everything is great.

False Advertising
This product has a picture of the label on Amazon as well as their website saying “Non GMO”. I received my jar today and instead of “Non GMO” it says “Trans Free” in the place of non gmo . Please be honest about what people are paying for. I specifically searched for Non GMO and didn’t get what you advertised.

The duck fat was exactly what my recipe called for.
I used this product to at low temperature, on top of the stove, deep fry several turkey thighs for four hoursThis was according to the recipe. I did filter the duck fat past using and it is in my fridge ready to be usedagain. Excellent for making fried potatoes. B. Jones
