yes but if you have a glaze on your stones, clean of the polish and re-run with plain water and ivory soap. This will get you the wet look you are seeking

How do i convert oz into tbsp? i have a 1 lb tumbler and it says to add 1oz of grit, how many tablespoons is that?

1 tbs is half a fluid oz. Generally I add about 1 tbs of grit per pound on steps 1 and 2, and half that for steps 3 and 4. Hopefully this helps.
