All the Ways to be Smart: the beautifully illustrated international bestseller that celebrates the talents of every child

This is such a lovely book. It was recommended to me by a friend and I got it for my two children (three and five). There is a lovely rhythm and rhyme to it with some beautiful illustrations. The message in the book is a very good one, especially if they are at school/nursery and perhaps sometimes feel like they cannot do things as well as other children. The message in the book is essentially that we are all smart in our own special way. I would definitely recommend this book and this is a lovely calm, nighttime read.

A gorgeous book that celebrates the unique qualities of every child, showing that the things that make them smart aren’t ‘just ticks and crosses’ and ‘knowing all the answers ever’, but can also be things like creativity, kindness, caring, asking questions, day-dreaming, and just being yourself. The lovely rhyming text and vibrant illustrations with splashes of neon make this a truly unique book. Perfect for little ones starting school, but great for a wide range of ages!

Great message. Well written, easy to follow. 5 year old enjoyed. Quicker read than what we are doing currently but the message is so important and well expressed. Also lots of racial diversity in the illustrations. Thumbs up.

Lovely rhymes and illustrations that young kids (around 2 years plus) can relate to. Good length and easy to read for bedtimes - no dark fonts on dark pages which is difficult to read in a dark room!

This book is on high rotation in my classroom. A beautiful and clever rhyming books that reminds children that being good at maths and reading isn’t the only way they can be ‘smart’. I highly recommend for parents and teachers
