4 stars because Afrin does exactly what it’s supposed to… but at a cost. It works fast, effectively, and doesn’t hurt your nose when you use it. The allergy one is my favorite.HOWEVER, as a long time user of this nasal spray, I would strongly advise anyone to adhere to the warning label on the bottle and only use this sparingly, for a few days at most. I suffer from allergies all year round, and have consistently relied on this spray to alleviate my stuffy nose. Not being able to breath through your nose is annoying and makes it hard to go to sleep or just be comfortable in general. Afrin gets rid of that problem, but there is a cost after long term use.It would start with a stuffy nose. Then I’d use the spray… every day because it would come back. Eventually, my nose became stuffy because of the spray, not allergies. I did some research and the basic way to explain it is that Afrin (the chemicals in the spray) get rid of your stuffy nose by shrinking the blood vessels in your nasal cavity. Over time, your body becomes dependent on the spray physically and the “rebound affect” (the blood vessels expanding worse than before) is what causes a persistent stuffy nose after long term use. It got to the point where I was using this twice a day just to be able to breathe through my nose. Without it, I would be miserable… so I just kept using it.I’m currently 2 weeks afrin free and the first 5 days off it were brutal. Oral decongestants and a netty pot were a huge help, but it was difficult to be comfortable with an ultra stuffy nose. With sparse short term use, I’d highly recommend. But beware of using it too much or you’ll feel worse than before

This works very well and easy to spray without it dripping all over!

I usually use the Afrin Severe Congestion with menthol, which is the best, but only in the no drip bottle with the long nozzle. Anyway, lately that one has been hard to find in Walmart (more than one) and it’s been pricey on Amazon, but this one was only about $8 and it works almost as good as my usual.

Hard to get at times and can take a while to get here but worth the wait over inferior product

Menthol and camphor irritate the insides of my nose. I stopped buying the Severe Congestion version because of how much menthol it has in it. I thought this one wouldn't have menthol, but it does.

My doctor recommended I get this and it help clear my sinus up almost immediately. I’m known for getting chronic sinus infections so always keep Afrin on hand and when I can’t breathe my nose is all plugged it opens it up. Best stuff

Super nose spray. It gives you a hint of Menthol with the regular trench crushing nose spray. The one I use as a alternate for the extra moisturizing spray - the dark red one. Both are great. 👍👃
