Low quality item
Unfortunately this is a low quality item. I sent it back. I start another search in order to find a real heavy duty cover for my washing machine.

Easy solution
I order this because my washing machine sits out on the back porch and when they cut the grass it ends up in my washer. So far so good it hasn't blown away and I haven't seen any grass in the washer

Ok for temporary cover
The cover is made of a type of plastic that will degrade after 6-12 months. It was supposed to be padded, but is actually heat-stamped in a padded pattern with 2 pieces of the plastic but with no actual padding inside. It does fit my washer, in fact, cut large so it could accommodate an even larger machine. Having the zip opening is advantageous as you don’t have to take cover completely off when using machine.
