Great product - works well for emergency use
Great product - works well for emergency use, longer term use as you let nails grow in or even for use all the time if you have nails that aren't very good for playing. They stay on very well and can be shaped in almost any way to match your needs. I left them on for more than 24 hours to see how well they would hold up and they still worked well/stayed on with no issues. Really great system that doesn't damage your real nails. they generate good tone, work well for fast playing too. You can easily take them off and go back to navigating the real world without the challenges of long nails. Planning to buy additional nails and adhesive dots.

Best nails around
This is one of those products that really work well. As a Acoustical Guitar player, these nails have saved me, many hours of distress trying to my Real Finger nails in shape all the time. Breaking a nail, while in concert, can be heart breaking at best. With rico nails, I simply replace the nail with one of the spares I have and simply continue. A Friend turned me on to rico nails and I have been very pleased ever since. Thank You Wayne

Effortless playing but assembly required.
These have been an effective substitute when I've damaged or torn a nail requiring it to be trimmed to a nub. Which is a common occurrence with my thin nails. Admittedly, it takes a bit of time to shape it to size as does the application process before playing. But, they do hold for the couple hours of playing that I've worn them through. I run warm water or soak my fingers before trying to remove them, which helps loosen the glue dots. Flattening the curvature of the nail to match your own is a little tricky and the instructions didn't help me. I found getting the shaped nail exactly positioned and aligned on my own true nail tricky, but then realized that it wasn't that critical to the playing experience. Compared to something like the Fred Kelly finger picks which just slip on, and I've tried them all, the application may be more laborious but there is no finger trauma and no proximity sense adjustment for the added bulk and nail to string distance. That being said, I do use the Fred Kelly picks for spur of the moment sessions and the Ricos for performance and planned long practice sessions. Having acrylic nails was great, but not the wisest choice, and these non-toxic glue dots do hold.

Excellent product for those of us with bad nails!
This is a GREAT product. I can't praise it enough. I'm not a professional musician, just someone who loves to play my guitar, who has really lousy nails. I have never - in almost five decades of playing guitar - had nails that were strong enough to grow and use for playing. I've tried fingerpicks but was never comfortable with them. This product was apparently developed for "emergencies" but they are also perfect for people like me, who need them on a daily basis. The adhesive dots are strong enough to hold the nails on through hours of playing. (In fact, I have left the nails on overnight and continued using them the next day for hours more practice.) It took me a few minutes to get the hang of how to take the nails back off - but it's fairly straightforward once you do. And there is no damage to your own nails. For the record, I'm a huge Amazon fan, but I purchased this particular product directly from the Riconails website, because I only needed the nails and adhesive dots.
