MorelMaximo 5.25-Inch Component Speaker System

I have tried this set both with the passive crossover and active with a DSP. Coming from cheap pioneer coaxs, these blew me away. Without time alignment or major EQ, they sounded beautiful for the price right out of the box. They provided clarity and details in music I’ve never noticed before. For one chasing the sought after 99.99% HIFI car audio, this will get you 90% with the included crossovers. Running them active with independent time alignment and EQ really proves the drivers’ worths. My tweeters are located in the door cards. I would recommend to have them up in the dash or A pillars. Their on axis performance sounds more crisp.

The sound is amazing clean , I listen heavy metal, classic, alternative ,rock electronic etc and the intruments sound nice crispy clean

Installed and demoed dozens of sets of speakers, these lil puppies really hold there own. The bass and mid bass output sounded like 7's instead of 5 1/4's, upper octaves were balanced and smooth, really easy to listen to at high levels over extended periods of time, s you would expect from Morels. They came with all the needed accessories to make the install very easy, such as speaker grills, screws, and two different tweeter mounting cups. I am very satisfied with this $76.00 purchase. The efficiency of this set is very good, unless your used to pushing your frontstage with an external amp you will be more than satisfied by pushing these with your head unit. Take the time to install correctly and enjoy.

these speakers sound outstanding. for the price, they are a steal. they sound better than a dynaudio component set I have in another car, and at 1/4th the price. I was even considering getting a 2nd set of these to replace the Dynaudiosthere is seamless integration between the mid-woofer and tweeters. the highs are detailed without being annoying, the mid-woofer has a very nice warm tone and seem to never show any strain when pushed hard.

Nice smooth tweets and surprising good mid bass for a 5.25" mid driver. Would recommend to amp them to get best sound but sound decent off of head unit.

Good sound for a lesser priced set. Never had any quality issues in the 4 years of use.
