Gibraltar HiHat-Ständer Telescopic

I'm always looking for value in my drum equipment. I don't like to compromise value for quality, however. I have a Gibraltar rack, so I am familiar with the quality of the engineering. I have never had an issue with a single clamp on my rack. So, after I beat the sh...tar...out of my "high quality" but V E R Y expensive hi-hat stand, I needed a worthy replacement. I had recently purchased a direct-drive double kick pedal, to replace on by the same company that made my dear, departed hi-hat (hint: there is a number on both that has three zeroes...and they make expensive drums, too), so I was intrigued by the Gibraltar 9707NL-DP. Not having legs, the positioning possibilities are near-endless. I can butt it right up against my slave pedal with no issues, and the responsiveness of the mechanics is outstanding. I won't ever buy another chain-driven model again! It is standing up to the rigors of four-set-a-night gigging, with no trouble. I definitely recommend this product. I used the other guys for most of my drumming career, but I won't go back...I don't care how many celebrity endorsers they have!

My 2nd one in 10 years. The 1st one works great still, I just wanted a 2nd to stay in my gig bag. You can't kill these stands, and you can't beat Gibraltar quality!

Excellent quality hardware and especially good for my e-drum kit. Single post clamps to the rack (need to buy the Gibralter clamp) and actually stabilizes the whole kit. I love that there are no other support legs to take up floor space. Works fine with the heavier Roland upper hi-hat cymbal. Huge upgrade from the electronic trigger pedal that came with my TD-17L kit.

Great no leg stand. The pedal board is a little narrow, but other than that, perfect.

This hi-hat is awesome really cleans up the floor very sturdy and great play ability and you can customize your feel with the many adjustments for sring tension

This is a great hi hat stand - I was looking to free up floor space from my previous stand, which it did, too. It will actually stand on its own without the adjustable arm and clamp, as long as you don't play hard. My only complaint, would it kill Gibraltar to include instructions? It took me about 45 minutes to figure out how to adjust it properly, when it could have been done in just a few minutes with instructions. Solid construction and a great addition to the Stealth rack

This is an excellent stand. Yes, you do need to get the attachments so that it can stand, but then your floor is clear, and that's helpful if you need to add other pedals. As with all Gibraltar hardware, it's rock solid.

Works great with the rack I got. Very clean look.
