Small Indoor Gardening Tool Set

So cute!! Be aware-these are MINI gardening tools, not full sized. I would say that are about 1/2 normal size, which is what I was looking for. I bought these for my mom's indoor plants that arent super big and her more delicate ones. The smaller tools make it easier to propogate and prune plants that need a softer hand and don't like being shoved around.

Small and cute. Easy to use and can be good gift for kids or beginners. I bought them for my tiny cat wheat pot and the size of the tools are perfect. These are not heavy duty, only suitable for small pots or plants (succulents, herbs, cat wheatgrass)

I bought this during grad school to help care for my indoor plants. Honestly, I only bought it because it's just about identical to one I bought for my maternal Grandma when I was a little girl. She loved gardening and passed away a few years ago so I guess this is just one of the little things I can do to feel like she's still here.The canvas bag is great and worth the price alone. The interior is big enough to store what you need without being huge and the outside pockets keep the dirty tools covered and organized. The tools are pretty decent but not super high quality; they'll do the job and last for a while but you can find better. I don't really NEED super high quality, so these fit the bill just fine. The water mister is pretty cheap, don't use it much and not sure how long it would last if I did. Overall, it fits my needs and I'm happy with it.

I was hesitant to purchase this indoor garden tool set because it didn't have any reviews and I had read reviews for other similar products complaining the tools were too small or nondurable, but I took the risk and was pleasantly surprised.The shovel, trowel, and rake are reasonably sized for working with small potted plants. The orange wooden handles are about 4 inches long and fit nicely in my hand, while the stainless steel trowel and shovel are around 3 and 3.25 inches long (the rake's three teeth are around 2.5 inches long, bent at the 1.5 inch mark so you have at least 1 inch of steel to dig with). The snips and pruners have similar measurements with plastic-covered metal handles that are about 4.5 inches long and the actual metal cutters being around 1.25 and 1.5 inches long. The spray bottle is the size of a small soap dispenser, and its container is glass but the sprayer itself is plastic. The sprayer had a small leak but this was fixed with a little glue. The bag's handles are about 3 inches long and its inner pocket is around 6 x 3.5 x 5.5 inches. There is a pocket for each tool on the sides of the bag plus one large pocket on each end of the bag. Overall I was able to fit all five tools, the spray bottle, a pair of gloves, seed packets, and the small miscellaneous items I used to plant the seeds into the bag.As for durability, I've had this tool set for several weeks and have seen no signs of poor quality. The bag's material is thick with no rips or loose thread, the spray bottle is intact, and the shovel and trowel (which I've used the most so far) have shown no signs of wear & tear after working with Miracle Gro brand potting soil.

Please read this before buying. This is a mini set. I bought this gardening tool set for my sister and her husband for the purpose of outdoor gardening. At the same time I bought a child's gardening kit for my niece so she could play along side them. When they both arrived I couldn't help but laugh because the child's gardening kit was nearly twice the size of this one. For clarity, the set for my niece also had a tote bag, and several of the same tools in this kit (metal & wood, not plastic), and they were all slightly smaller than normal adult tools.The picture the seller shows here is either completely photoshopped or at best, a very crafty deception. Those flowerpots in the photo have to be no bigger than the length of my palm in comparison to the tote's actual size. Going back over the ad, I can see where I missed the necessary information to forewarn me of it's size, so despite the shady picture, I admit the fault was mine. Still, it was all too easy of a mistake to make and I suspect they know it. In the product description it says "Perfect for tending to small gardens and indoor plants" and I assume now that by small they mean more along the lines of those hanging window-length planters, because other than the pruners and snips (which are about actually normal size), the rest of the tools, while funny to imagine, would be pretty much useless otherwise.Now in regards to quality, it's okay. Definitely not your premium quality tool, but they're not about to break or fall apart after a few uses either. The tote seems decently made and is largely a sturdy canvas material, but there's very little room inside. You absolutely couldn't fit a regular sized tool in there. Maybe some seed packs. The handle on the little shovel had some minor splintering where they drilled a hang hole but that was fixed by simply carefully brushing them off. There's very little difference between the shovel and the trowel and due to a lack of defined point, I doubt neither of them would be very effective if used with hard soil. I gave this product 3 stars because for strictly light, indoor use with potting soil, this set would probably be just fine. It's incredibly small size would make for easy storage and possibly give the gardener better accuracy/less dirt spill in transplanting most small-medium sized plants. If the plant is larger scale, this kit would probably be worse than just using your hands. If you're looking for an indoor/outdoor gardening set, I would strongly advice against choosing this. My sister is only 4'8 and besides the pruners & snips, these tools are still too small for her.

I read the reviews about how small this INDOOR GARDEN TOOL SET was and thought it would be perfect for me. I was right! I absolutely love it! The metal is Stainless Steel and the tools are well made. The only negative was the mister dribbled water after misting the plants. However; everything else works great!My sister gave me a regular sized trowel which was the only garden tool I had prior to purchasing this set. To give you a scale of reference on size, the regular trowel is longer than the tote is wide. The smaller sized tools are perfect for all my indoor plants. I just used them to re-pot 11 Schefflera rootings to bigger pots as gifts. Having the snip and pruner both to choose from is wonderful.I have my INDOOR GARDENING TOOL SET sitting in my garden supply basket. Again, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this set!I have enclosed a few photos so you can see it to scale.

My daughter loves it for all of her indoor plants, cacti and succulents. Perfect for apartment dwellers.

It is exactly what I wanted, I had the same product 20 years ago, bag all rotted away, tools broke over the years, only 2mths ago, my little shovel broke. My daughter mentioned she wanted her hubby to get her a small indoor plant tool kit for xmas, as she remembered mine, he cldnt find one, and got her the large outdoor tools. So I bought 1 for her and a new one for myself. THANK YOU VERY MUCH you have made 2 ladies extremely happy.

I have very small hands, and they are a great size for me. I use these for my little potted plants and it makes repotting and touching up on dirt a lot easier. Plus the mister is a mice misted glass and feels heavy in a good way, very sturdy.
