Battle Royale Vol 2
This is the second volume of the Battle Royale manga.Following on from the start of the game in Volume 1, this volume branches out a little and follows some of the other characters and their actions. The overarching plot deals with Shuuya and Noriko steaming up with Kawada, but frequently cuts to the other students, sometimes delving into their back story. The body count in this volume is pretty high, with most of the students still in one place.

The story keeps getting better
This is the second of the long line of Battle Royale books to be made, and it was just as good as the first. In this one, you see another characters storied past revealed, but his time on the island is short-lived when an old friend decides to play, the two main characters who work against the program, Noriko Nakagawa and Shuuya Nanahara ally with a very important character, and also as expected their is a lot more bloodshed than the first one. Definetly worth the money, and, just like the first one it keeps you hooked right up until the end and then you realise you have to buy the netx one to find out more.

the best so far
The Battle Roayle mangas are superb pieces of art and storytelling, and so far I own the five available. I do of course intend to buy the next ones in the series when they come out as well, but this is by far the best of the series yet, so this is the one I choose to review. The illustration of this manga is incredible. The entire thing is very realistic, specifically the violence. Without ruining the plot of the second part, it does reveal insights into Kazuo's character, as well as deepening the story of Shuuya and Noriko. But the character most lovable here is Mitsuru, the poor schmuck. Ever trusting, ever loyal, and quite sad in a way. As he says:"Last minute revelations suck..."you feel what he feels. The book carries with it a lot of emotion. I would recommend it to any fan of the film or any manga collector. Buy the entire series.

Great adaption.
This is My 2nd favorite volume so far just behind vol. 4.I have so far read all the way up to vol. 6 of the series and I have to say that this a great adaption of the original novel, yes there have been changes made but I think they serve the overall story well and a bigger bonus is that characters are even more fleshed out then in the novel and main characters as well as most of the lesser ones have a lot of backstory which really helps You get into each character all the more and I love the way some characters are over blown such as both Niidia and Sho who are a riot when they feature in later volumes. But even though I gave this a 5 star there is one problem I have with the series so far which is the dialogue which at times is pretty bad but this seems to become less of a problem as the series goes on or maybe I'm just used to it now lol.If the series keeps going like it has this may actually top the novel.
