Blocks sound 99% at 25% maxvol. Blocks sound 95% at 50% maxvol. Blocks sound 90% at 75% maxvol. The problem is, in order for it to block sound 100% you have to press it hard on your ears.The headphones are not comfy for large heads. If you have a big brain, sometimes you just need to use brawn. You can use brute force to bend the metal, which is good, then the headphones will be comfy. But once they are comfy they will not block sound as good. Therefore I only give it 4 star. Maybe in the future we can have headphones that are comfy and also block sound.

If you have glasses keeping them on under will affect noise cancelation, and may be less than perfectly comfortable, but honestly it’s still so much better.And i also noticed that with the glasses on i could sort of get half the sound canclation and still hear laundry beeps and people talking directly to me, so i count it as a win!I have a smallish lady head and they fit me way better than i thought they would and they also fit my male family members. No idea how that works but it’s convenient.Got these because i think i might be on the autism spectrum, and with everyone being at home all the time the noise kills me and my productivity.I definitely have sensory processing issues especially with sound, i have never been as relaxed as i am with these on, they work great.Great price, great everything! Highly recommend.

I bought these because I recently got into handguns and firearms practice. I looked up many different Amazon reviews and products. I came to this one and the reviews were decent. The price was really good. So, I took a shot in the dark (pun so intended) and bought these. It was a "bulls-eye" purchase! These earmuffs are almost perfect. The only con is that it didn't come with a case. Not a major issue, just a personal convenience :-)Let me dive into the amazing benefits of these earmuffs. They block out an amazing amount of noise. I'd say the same as the ones you can rent at professional shooting ranges. They have a generic look, which I like. I'm not looking for the earmuffs to be shiny or anything. So, back to the noise, I can just barely hear an airplane or helicopter from above. I can still hear the gunshot itself, but it's like it's muffled. Basically, I know the gun went off, but it's not like it hurts my ears or anything. Just sounds like a normal noise. If somebody was yelling at me, it would probably sound like a normal voice. These earmuffs are just all around really good for $13.If anyone has any questions, definitely respond to my review!

These worked great when we went out shooting. My husband has some big guns and they really stopped the noise.

Bought two pair for my Son and I.The fit is great for anyone. They adjusted to our different size heads with no issues. Sound cancellation is perfect. You can still hear each other without screaming and cancels out any damaging noise.

I received my ClearArmor Safety Ear Muffs and I have to say, I'm very happy with them. My husband has been taking me to the gun range for 3 years now learning gun safety and getting me ready to have my own gun in the home. This last Christmas, he finally got me my own and I've been able to go shooting at a friend's in their back woods. These Ear Muffs are awesome for the noise reduction and comfortable. They aren't too heavy and hot. They aren't too tight on my head and I'm glad to have my own pair instead of renting them at the range! My husband needs a pair as well, so as soon as the world is back to normal, I will be ordering him a pair as well!! He loves them and he has a congenital ear defect that makes it difficult to wear any kind of head gear, be it hats or ear protection. Hes able to use these without any difficulty, so we much appreciate that as well. Delivery was fast and price was fantastic. I'll be getting each of our sons a pair as well. They stand up to any $80 pair I've used!!

Not the absolute top of the line, but for the money paid it's pretty darn good! It works fine for me when I put it on while using my lawn equipment (mover, weed eaters, blower). I also have a compressor and this baby helps me out quite nicely with this crazy loud air compressor. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and the price is not bad at all, so I can therefore confidently recommend this product to anyone.
