I've been in search of good ear plugs for some time now. I've gone through several styles and haven't truly come across a great product until I found the Jourdak style !! A friend at the gun-range suggested I try them and I'm forever grateful. I actually have been using them for 3 primary purposes; both indoor and outdoor gun ranges, additionally during work as a commercial Pilot while working and Hotels. Hearing, in my profession is extremely important as we get tested every 6 months during our medical. Typically over the years guys in my profession begin to get very sensitive to loud sounds. Being on the ramp, one is constantly surrounding by jet engines and other extremely loud noises causing potential hearing damage. not only do these block our 95 percent of surrounding noises but they are extremely comfortable! That was my problem with previous brands, they blocked sound decently but after 10 mins of usage I could no longer stand them being in my ears. The cartilage in my ears would get irritated. These literally could be worn 24 hours a day. Unlike many , I am a very light sleeper, and when in various hotels around the world I often run across hotels that are just filled with conventions and events being very loud with people and constant motion. Therefore when I'm on the road I actually sleep with these throughout the night. When flying multiple times zones sleep patterns are extremely important, so these plugs have truly made a difference in getting rest while on the road. The soft material used allows the plug to truly mold specifically to my inner ear giving me more noise reduction than I've experience before but even better without irritation. Don't waste your money on anything else.

Best earplugs I've gotten! I wear them to sleep (noisy neighborhood and snoring partner). I've had to, in the past, choose between earplugs that didn't work as well and larger ones that would hurt my ears, especially after several nights use in a row. These work great and are nice and narrow and soft so I dont wake up with an ear ache! They are also easily malleable so easier to stick in the ear than some others I've tried. The container is cute, but I dont use it.

My husband snores very loudly! I bought these ear plugs in hopes that they would cancel out some of the noise. They do! I can still hear some very muffled sound but not enough to keep me from sleeping. These are very soft and pliable. You just stick them in your ear canal and kind of push them down. You will still have enough outside of the canal to be able to pull them out easily. They form a bit of a seal over the canal and cancel out most of the sound! Why didn’t I buy these years ago!

This is one of the best ones I have found. These have above average noise reduction and a good, comfortable fit for anyone. You can still hear noises you need to hear such as an alarm or the phone ringing. So, it is a perfect balance for me.I am living next to construction. I work late and sleep late. The construction starts too early for me. These allow me to go back to sleep until the time I need get up (later than most).I am grateful for that.I can sleep well again.The would work well to protect your ears in loud events, such as concerts or kennels, as well, to protect your ears.

I'm a long time, fairly hard-core user/tester of foam earplugs. For over two years I relied on them every day while in grad school, and I'm a frequent flier who won't get on a plane without them. I know how to shape and place them, how to get them to 'sit' right until fully expanded, etc. I was swayed by the reviews, so took a chance on these. It seems to me that either the dB rating is off, or that the material might have given that rating in a lab, but not in the real world. The sound 'seal' in my ear canal is just not as tight as with others rated identically. (With practically pediatric-sized ear canals, fit is never the issue.) While these nicely blocked the sound of conversation from across the thin walls of an adjacent hotel room, and were comfortable, they were quite poor at 'dimming' ambient noise in an airplane. I'll keep them for lower-noise needs, but will go back to my other brand for flights.

When I want to take an afternoon nap it’s almost nearly impossible because all I hear are screeching motorcycles and really loud cars with my flowers and the fire department. I put these in for a 1 o’clock quick nap and all I heard was myself breathing. I heard nothing else it’s like the world stopped so I can nap. They work great.
