I used this and cut to fir for my large wooden shop bench. It is thicker than those cut for that specific purpose, and also superior in quality. Highly recommend for shop purposes.

Love this product!I work full-time, and travel and live in an RV. I needed something to put my puppies in, while I was working. They have a pen, it it has no floor. They are one year old rescues, that are little DESTROYERS, when left alone.I tried multiple types of floors and mats underneath their pen. Most of them, have been demolished in one day. This one has lasted a long time. (This is my second one, as I made a mistake of leaving an edge of the mat reachable inside the pen. That is the only time they were able to get through it – starting at the edges!) This does a great job of protecting the floor in my RV from doggy teeth.

This mat is thick, durable, a great $ value, and it even laid flat right out of the rolled package. I ended up using it on the floor of a walk-in closet to put luggage on top of so the wheels don't touch our new carpet. It's thick enough that it won't get sucked into a vacuum.
