This is my first decanter set, I was just recently introduced to scotch whiskey and wanted something to display my Macallan. So, I looked into getting a nice lead free crystal set and this one caught my eye immediately. A true man's decanter set, very robust high quality crystal, I have no doubt that it will last a lifetime and will be something that I pass down to my children. The stock pictures do not do it justice, its a very impressive looking set and would be ideal for entertaining guests. On a side note, I also have the Tovolo 2.5" ice sphere molds and they fit perfectly in the tumblers, the size is absolutely perfect for a nightly dram! If I ever have the need to buy a second set, it will be Ravenscroft.

It's as cool in person as it looks in the pictures. What the pictures can't show is how hefty it is. The thick base on the decanter and the stopper make this thing pretty heavy. Easily double what you think it might weigh. That doesn't make it hard to use and pour, it just means you need to have a good grip when you lift it and likely use two hands. I've gotten compliments from several friends who've visited and poured themselves a drink from it.The only negative point, and it's not really a problem, is the air bubble in the base of the decanter and glasses. It's not a trapped bubble. It's open at the base, so when you wash the glasses and place them up-side down to dry there will be water which drips out when you turn them over. Just be aware that you'll want to use a towel to absorb the bit of water in there to ensure they are completely dry and not going to drip on someone when used.

This is a top quality set. Glasses have a very balanced heft. The decanter and stopper are both solid and heavy. Money well spent.

It was incredibly beautiful. It was a present for my fiancé and he was overwhelmed by it. My only complaint when I got it was the box inside was damaged but the crystal wasn't cracked or anything. Much more of a cosmetic issue.

It was not what I picked out in the picture. I got plain glasses, not design. Very disappointed.

Aesthetically it's beautiful. However, after 1 - ONE - ONE - a SINGLE round in the dishwasher one of the glasses broke so now I only have a set of 3 after spending over $100 for it. I only washed one in the dishwasher, one time, so it has a pretty bad record.Definitely not durable. Proceeds with caution. Or wash these by hand.$100 sheesh….

This set looks great and is definitely solid. Well worth the money. Looks classy and manly.

Love how elegant it looks. However the lid has a few bubbles. But overall I like it.
