I am a Science Educator and used this book to teach students Biology. The illustrations are fascinatingly beautiful for us Science nerds. The students seems to love it too!I just sit with it sometime and look at the illustrations or read selected pages. I just recognized as I write that I have been slowly reading it like a novel that I am relishing. I pick up where I left off the last time! High praise. High praise indeed.

The best anatomy book I've ever seen. It's a wonder! Only problem is the grey background on some text makes it hard for me to read. Otherwise, I love it.

When we received the books, they were worn and tattered, obviously not in New condition as indicated in the description.

What a great find! I am learning to become a practitioner of Asian healing, and wanted to learn how the body systems line up with what I am learning. Everything makes so much more sense with this book as my reference. The pictures are excellent, and everything is broken down into simple functions that follow a logical order. My compliments to the authors/illustrators/animation wizards. This book is a must for anyone learning human anatomy. Well done!

The media could not be loaded. Was packaged nicely but binding was tore. Book was dirty. No plastic protection! Nice big images in the book. Wished it was more taken care of when “buying new”

I borrowed this book from a library before buying, so I knew it was a great "must have" book.The number 1 reason I bought this book is for it's full 2 page spread of the cell membrane that is like none other. I use it as an argument of design for God. How anyone could look at that picture and think it could have self-assembled itself is beyond me. The book explains every function. The super fine detail displays biological engineering of the highest level that the dumb or blind processes of evolution could never master. I consider the whole book a service manual of the human body.Although there exists a newer, smaller, cheaper paperback edition, it's not worth scrimping and not getting the real McCoy. This is undoubtedly the best anatomy book on the planet. It took 20 years to produce. The quality of the graphics are 100% perfect, and super clear.Treat yourself. Everyone should have a copy of this book.I feel privileged to own one.
