I got the owl stamp! I was worried due to reviews that the imprint would not be very good. But honestly for such an elaborate design this seal looks great! It is definitely on the lighter side, but I think it is very obvious what it is and adds a wonderful touch to letters. I do wish that the circular area around the image was smaller because you cannot get that classic circular wax seal that bubbles up around the imprint using this. If you use the right about of wax tho it does look like a perfect small shield. I would definitely do a few practice ones before heading to your letters if perfection is something you're going for, but after a few tries it is easy to know how much to use. I love this stamp and although I bought it for my Harry Potter Christmas party invites I will probably be using it for Christmas cards as well!

So far this stamp is working well and it is lovely! Detailed etching in the design! Great for sealing thank you notes and letters, especially to my nerdy friends. I sealed the wrapping paper of one of my daughter's gifts for Christmas, and wrote "From Hogwarts" next to it. She was suprised and excited! She has fun helping me seal envelopes as well. Wonderful quality!

I purchased several stamps, letting each of the kids pick out their own. This is for the Hufflepuff stamp. While this stamp is just as high quality as the rest of them, the picture is almost impossible to decipher. Only if you know this is a Hufflepuff stamp will you be able to see anything that makes you think that. There are just too many details that are not clear. If I were purchasing stamps again, I would pick only stamps that have clear clean lines and very simple designs.

It's perfect size for me to use. Stamp came out clean and shows very clearly on the paper. I'll likely purchase another stamp in the future. Very happy with this purchase. 🙂

So cute and so perfect. I needed it for invitations for a Harry Potter bridal shower and it was perfect. It looks nice enough that even if people didn’t get that it was Harry Potter, it still looked fancy. In between stamps I put it in a small container of ice, and that dramatically helped speed things along. I also recommend using wax sticks that you put in a hot glue gun because it makes it so easy.

The stamp overall is of nice quality, but the depth of the image is lacking. I used it to add seals to gifts for a themed baby shower and the owl was pretty difficult to see. I even tried highlighting the peaks with a metallic Sharpie, but the detail wasn't defined enough in the wax for this to totally correct it.

The Owl Post Service seal is well made and highly detailed--perhaps too much for a wax stamp. The brass stamp disc is actually 1 1/4" diameter, LARGER than the 1" given in the Seller's pix, but it's still a little small for this amount of detail. My first two tries with this weren't very successful and the image isn't very legible. UPDATE: I tried it with darker wax and the image stands out much more clearly. :-)

Being a fan of snail mail & Potter, I ordered the Hedwig / Owl post wax seal. It is very detailed, so you do have to look at the finished product in the right light to be able to appreciate it properly, but it comes out very well. I wanted to see how this looked as soon as it arrived, so just tried it on a piece of scrap paper & am very happy with the result.
