I like the padded handle and color but it tangles really easily. When I say tangle I mean it tangles and twists on itself. I have the Forever Friends brand for my 95lb GSD/BMD mix and I’ve never had the tangling issue with that one. And it’s only a few dollars more! This is not heavy duty and I would not recommend it for training dogs not accustomed to being on a leash. My shih tzu mix rescue is less than 15lbs and doesn’t respond as well to this as she does the other brand.

At the recommendation of a pet sitter, replaced harnesses with these leads. The smaller dog was like Houdini and escaped at least 5 harnesses we had tried. The dogs each go out several times a day with these leads. Your vet probably uses similar. We have had 2 sets of leads for years just in case, but they have proven to be super durable. You can adjust the fit by moving the little lack tab further down the lead to the neck. They do not need to be tight. You may find you have much better control and almost no straining or choking. We will never go back to clip on leashes or harnesses again.

This leash is awesome! Our Australian Cattle Dog had learned if he wanted to get free from his collar all he had to do was spin and back up- and just like a four legged Houdini, he could escape! This new leash he cant do that with. It's amazing cause when he does that now, it tightens up on him, and hes learned that if he walks like he's supposed to, it loosens up immediately- no more chasing the stray cats! Within a matter of 2 days, hes a different dog on the leash! So I'm goinf to order one for our Southern Black Mouth Cur! Highly recommend and would refer anyone looking for a convenient slip on collar/leash set to try it out. It also has a comfortable handle so no more rope burns!

We heard about utilizing a training leash for our dog to control our routine walks. The man who was giving us some pointers showed us a similar leash so we decided to give this a try versus the harness we'd been using for our dog. This has been amazing! He used to refuse walks by just sitting down, now he continues his walks all the way through. I was a little hesitant to use this, as I'm not a fan of having a collar around his neck--he's a chihuahua and I didn't want to hurt him. However, after a few walks, he quickly adjusted and realized tugging away wasn't going to help him. The leash itself is pretty durable and is perfect for my sized dog. I'm not sure I'd recommend this for a large breed. It does have a padded handle portion, just in case you have a stronger dog that pulls.Walks are so much more pleasant now and my dog has learned when I give a little tug, he moves right along.

I bought this because I wanted a quick leash to take my cavalier puppy out to the bathroom without having the hassle of connecting a harness/or clip on leash. This works perfect! I have also started using it as a training leash for training her to take walks, as she doesn't tug as much with this. It has a comfortable handle, the leash is long- but not too long and the collar portion is adjustable so you can avoid hurting your puppy. My cavalier has learned quickly how to come and wait while I put it on and then to hold still while I remove it. The material is thick and chew tolerant, and I like the purple color!

I got this lead for better control and training with skittish and not-leash-trained foster dogs. When I first got the lead it was very stiff and hard to maneuver the dog with it. It kept bending stiffly and getting in the dog's face rather than falling slack. After a month, the tab part started getting loose and slipping out of position. Now, after three months of use, the tab is completely loosened and no longer serves any purpose as the loop round the dog's head can easily come too loose, so I'm looking for a new slip lead. Came to write this review because I'm generally disappointed in the quality and durability of this lead that was so highly rated on Amazon.The one thing I do like is the padded handle, so I'll be looking for another brand that has a similar handle.

I bought two of these slip leads thinking they would be as nice as the Leading brand but was terribly disappointed. My dogs hate them as the leads are very stiff and not soft cotton. These rub and are very rough feeling. Not only that, they did not make the slip stop large enough so it slips right though. They are worthless in my opinion.

I use these leashes when I am picking up or delivering a foster dog. They are great for those scared dogs that like to back out of their collars. When I have a new foster dog in our house, I like to double leash them, one using the collar and the other using a no slip lead as a back up to go for walks until they are more comfortable and stop trying to slip their collar. I learned the hard way when I had a foster dog slip his collar. Thank god he was too scared to go very far away from me.

This lead is perfect in every way. I have used it not for a few months every day and it is still as good as the day i bought it. It is study as my dog pulls hard in some situations and she has not been able to break it. Also really good this is that it is long enough that if I want her to walk in front of me she can as it is long enough without me having to put my arm out. It also has a choke stop and a anti slip of stop too, Great product thanks Amazon and thanks manufacturer, I will buy another fairly soon.

The lead itself is fine and has a really comfortable handle but it's not reflective at all as advertised which is disappointing as we bought it to use in the evenings.Anyone looking to stop their dog pulling this in a figure 8 around his neck and nose worked wonders. Like walking a different dog!

Fine enough quality however the leather stopper to prevent dog slipping head out not the best and lead can slip over this a rubber stopper may be better solution.

Great lead, rope quality really good but the metal ring broke off after one use.
