i encountered two problems:1. the bottom of this foot is not levelled. that small piece of metal for aligning the fabric keeps on flipping by friction with the teeth of the machine base.2. i tried all the zig zag stitches on my machine. unfortunately one caused the needle to jam in the centre of the foot and got bent. I'm horrified. my machine is brand new so is the needle.i cannot judge on the quality of the foot metal as i have not seen a Singer foot of the same kind. But compare the smoothness of the mental, Singer's all-purpose foot is much more smooth and shiny.

Read a few reviews saying it is ornamental and not required if you know how to stitch. One is to get the stitch right at the end of the cloth (yes the guide will help you) but importantly the middle metal piece will ensure extra thread is. passed on to the stitch. This will ensure it won't crumple or squeeze the stitch. Without this you may succeed by reducing tension to 0 etc.. but go for it.. You will get good finish.

Doesn't do what it claims. It didn't break my Needle but it's only doing the zigzag that even the simplest foot can perform. I have attached the photograph.I would say,DON'T BUY IT.
