Update: They washed (cold) and dried (perm-press) beautifully. So happy. These are so beautiful. These are not pieced from scraps. Each is two saree, married with thousands of even hand stiches. Light weight and breathable. I will put them in the wash and dry tomorrow. They are well and evenly stiched and edges finished so I have no doubt they will hold up fine, They have a detergent type smell out of the bag but not strong and it doesn't trigger my allergies. I have ached over the kantha type blankets for over a year, poured over the many mixed reviews and I finally chose this seller. Not knowing what would come, I ordered the 5 pack and hoped to get at least a couple in colors that I could make into jackets and the rest would be useful around the house. I received five perfect quilts in colors I love. I am unable to upload pictures but the background colors are vibrant pinks, tangerine, navy, red, gold. The coordinating colors in the pattern are turquoise, olive, purple, rust, forest green, grey, tan. The only color I would have trouble wearing is the gold so choosing my jacket will be hard. I would be proud to give such nice gifts for the holidays.

This was a great order for the cost! Was just as described bursting with color! I have at bottom of my bed but could go many places in home. It is a great throw or for whatever you need. The material is light not heavy not cheap made. You get several versions of the same cloth very versatile.

Great colors and fast shipping. They had the usual kantha smell so I'm washing them now and they should be fine. Thanks for the gift! I'll be ordering again.

Absolutely beautiful! All are slightly different which is great, and will be the perfect weight for chilly nights by the fire!

I’ve bought a bundle of these kantha blankets a few times- have been overly impressed each order! I received blankets of beautiful colors and patterns, all a nice size, and well constructed. They always wash well, and even a low tumble dry to help remove lint at first. One of the packages I received was primarily shades of pink- I am SO happy, it’s my favorite color! :)

These are so pretty, but they are lower quality than expected, even knowing that they are made from recycled materials going in. They have several small patches on them, and the kantha stitching is beautiful for the most part, but there are several loose/broken strings. One came with small animal droppings and heavy staining/discoloration on one area of it. But I bought these to use in messy situations anyways (in the trunk while hauling mulch, on picnics, in the dog kennel, blanket forts, etc). For that, they serve their purpose well and I don't have to worry about them getting stained or torn, because they already are anyways. They definitely had an unpleasant odor when I first opened them, but a good wash in detergent and white vinegar, a tumble in the dryer, and a good line airing outside fixed that issue.

Love these quilts, light weight and easy to use. Great to have on hand for extra bedding.

This light blanket came on time and didn't have that smell others were commenting on; although, I'm used to a lot stronger smells. Its very nice in quality and didn't fall apart in the wash like I was afraid of (Cold, normal cycle with low dry settings). This is great for when it gets hot in the summer, and a regular blanket is too hot.

Ich kenne diese Tücher/Decken etc seit eine Freundin mir ein Exemplar schenkte. Ich verwende sie zu allen möglichen Gelegenheiten, wenn ich nicht weiß, was ich nehmen soll - und das ist oft ;-) Das ist meiner Meinung nach aber gleichzeitig der größte Vorteil. Sie haben bunte, schöne Muster, immer sehr unterschiedlich, kein Tuch sieht aus wie das andere. Ich habe derzeit eine neue, graue Gartengarnitur, sie gut aussieht, aber die sehr sehr grau ist. Mit einem dieser Tücher sieht die Sache schon ganz anders aus.

J'ai déjà commandé chez cette firme et j'avais été satisfaite, or cette fois les 5 kanthas sont invendables, trous et taches cachés par des morceaux de tissus recousus par dessus. Je suis mécontente. Cordialement Sylvie RENAULT

These are absolutely beautiful and arrived fast. Mine were all different, no repeated fabrics. Light weight and reversible. Would be great for a wall hanging as well. I wasn't expecting perfection at $20 per quilt but they feel quite soft and durable. A few loose threads, couple open seams, bit of colour bleeding before washing, and a pretty strong smell would be my only cons. Washed them twice (vinegar and soap the first time, soap/softener/scent booster the second) in cold water and hung to dry, no smell remains. I would buy these again for sure!
