Clasp is flimsy and different than 1" bands
Even when pulled tight the clasp won't hold the tension on the plaster mold and releases on it's own so slip will leak out. So, for any size mold, I'd stick with the 1" bands.

i love the size and price of these but if you are looking for an option as good as Universal Banding Straps, this is not for you. first off, they are tight and work great for me but they need a little finesse and i'm not sure i trust them. flipping the latch to lock them down isn't very solid, they feel like they could pop open. figuring out how to weave the strap through the latch is fun but the design should be better. overall, great for small projects but i'd rate em not so hot...
