Numsense! Data Science for the Layman: No Math Added

Nice book to get understanding of data science concepts. Go for it, if you want a byte size reading on DS concepts.

The basic introduction about ML is covered well. Although some of the stuff could better be explained by more examples. But overall a must read book for any ML enthusiast.

Clear and neat introduction to the world of data science with no mathematical formulas used to explain the concept! Excellent.

Book is quite good for beginners but why don't you provide the coloured version of it, since the details provided in the book tells about some colour in every figure and I don't understand the picture/figure completely because of the black and white print of the book.I think you have an answer for that.

This book gives very basic understanding of all data science techniques like supervised and unsupervised. It provides basic details and doesn't go in detail of code.

Finished the book from cover to cover in 3 days (just few hrs a day)The book is a gentle introduction to data science algorithms. Builds a good foundation of what are various types of DS problems and what techniques can be employed to solve them.This is however a small book, less than 150 pages. You will have to buy a detailed book to continue the subject further.It is also a good read for Product Managers who just need to know whats possible with data science. They can subsequently engage relevant teams to get things done.

Numsense is a fabulous read. For any current or aspiring students of Data Science, it makes the process of discovering new algorithms and what they do a lot of fun. The authors have done this by relating each technique with popular use cases in daily life. And thereby demystified the whole process of understanding how the algorithm works in application. Great effort by Annalyn and Kenneth. Kudos

Easy to follow. Explores applications and describes strengths and weaknesses. I especially liked the summaries at the end of each chapter.

what a terrific book. One of the best I ever read, it really gets you going in a few pages.It cover all the most relevant topics related to DS, including the jargon, the most common algos, the best practice. All is simply written, understandable, actionable.It's the kind of book I wished I could have read 10 years ago, long time ago before cracking my head open on more difficult book.Great one!
