Supposed to be able to cut for specific measurements needed… would not recommend cutting. After a day the lights started going out as the water was getting into the tubing

I cut the plug-in end off of them as it is for a 110 V typical household outlet plug in. I hooked The bare wires up to a 12 V car battery and they worked perfectly. I had to add a pushbutton 12 V switch from an automotive store but they work amazing. I have them installed underneath the dash and cabinetry in my boat. They are waterproof. The glow is superb at night. I would buy these again. The plastic hardware to fasten them to a surface is Low quality but works And comes with to fasten them every so many feet.

The media could not be loaded.  Great lights really well built! A lot thicker than it looks on the pictures but they are super bright!

Update: customer service was excellent and they are sending a new set of lights. Hopefully it was just a random problem and the new ones will work.Within a week of installing you could see moisture and corrosion inside the light and it stopped working.

Nice blue color. Looks nice along our deck off our camper at seasonal site. Hubby said he could have used a few more clips , otherwise satisfied. Good price, too.

This rope light is rectangular and not round. I do love the color and the brightness. I did assume it was a typical round rope light though.
