Part of your Iceland planning kit...
With most of the pandemic restrictions behind us, it is time to plan to visit all those places you read about during the lockdown. And Iceland is more than just a destination. You're ready for concrete planning details. This rugged, water-resistant folding map might be just what you need. One side of the map shows the whole of Iceland. This map includes the ring road that goes around the island, and the populations centers. An inset map shows time and distance factors for driving, and a reality check on how long it takes to get around. Two other inset maps include the so-called golden circle of tourist attractions outside Reykjavik, and the fabled Myvatin area on the north side of the island. The other side of the map has three maps of the Reykjavik area. They give increasing levels of detail for the city and for the downtown area. Major attractions in and around Reykjavik are highlighted. This map is a good starting point. Dig into any of the many good tourist guides for more information, especially if you plan to drive yourself around Iceland. This planning map is well recommended to the enterprising traveler.

It was Useful!
This map was accurate and easy to read. Of course, we love every map and guidebook put out by Rick Steves. Everything he does is perfect for us, from our honeymoon trip to Europe in 1995, to every trip to Europe for 26 years and, just this month, our trip to Iceland!Three cheers for Rick Steves!

Excellent map
This was the larger version of the map included in the book. We purchased both the book and this map as a larger extra copy. This map give details of all the location to visit and it’s waterproof paper was well worth it price. It definitely much better than the free tourist map at the airport

The quality of paper on this map is impressive
The paper on this map is heavy duty and feels nice in your hands. Looking forward to using it in Iceland.

Sturdy map - won't rip
Great map for planning in advance as well as for carrying with you. It stands up to wind and rain and won't rip. I use a GPS while driving and walking, but this map had street detail missing in my GPS on one occasion! It has a country map as well as many detail maps.

Very helpful
I traveled solo to Iceland in June when the border opened and stayed in Reykjavik, doing solo exploration around the city as well as guided day trips. Good to know where I was going.

Minimal detail
Disappointing Map . Appears to be alike something you would pick up at a Tourist office etc . Will stick to Michelin maps in future.
