Bletchley Park Brainteasers: The biggest selling quiz book of 2017

I have not by any means gone through the whole book, but the puzzles are tough. There is a lot of the history of the puzzles and the code breaking work. One slight drawback to do with the crosswords - there is a difference between British and American English, and some of the words or phrases weren't familiar to me. I'll enjoy getting to the rest of the book, however.

I’ve always felt that in general the public grossly underestimates the work that goes into Intel. Reading this book might give you a deeper appreciation for the community.

This was a gift and he seemed to like it. This would be good for a high IQ person who loves solving problems.

I found the book to be an excellent historical record of Bletchley's approach to cryptology and so interesting , covering all types of codes. I particularly likes the way each chapter contains its own puzzles and found it a very interesting book. Whilst I could complete a number of puzzles throughout the book, I could not get past first base with the Times crosswords from the period! I don't think that I would have been allowed near the gates of Bletchley in real life, but this way I managed to test my mental gymnastics on other types of codes. Well worth the money and learnt a lot.

My family member loved this... 93 and still doing crossword puzzles!

Great condition book full of mind benders from a fascinating era and fascinating people.

Ordered as gift but on quick look I don't think I would have been recruited!

This was bought as a Christmas present for a family member, who loved it. Not just the puzzles, but packed full of information.
