I did a LOT of research on easels from different websites and this one was my best bet. It's very well made and well, down right beautiful. Sturdy and easily compacted for storage. It arrived completely assembled, I only had to add the adjustable stop plates allowing the easel to accommodate the size of my canvas. PLUS....IT ALLOWS ME TO TILT THE CENTER PIECE TURNING IT INTO A TABLE. What more could an artist ask for. ALL OF THIS FOR SUCH A GREAT PRICE!!! If you are looking for a quality, sturdy easel that will accommodate both large and small canvases, arrives assembled, looks great, can be easily folded for storage and can double as a table workspace... BUY THIS ONE. I'm so thankful I saw this one before buying another.

Perfect for small studio spaces.

I simply couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. When in use, the actual floor space it occupies is minimal. It also collapses in on itself to be stored under a bed, off in a corner or somewhere inconspicuous. It has front wheels making moving it a breeze. It's solid wood, pleasant to look at and of appreciable construction. I oiled the wood to ensure it's longevity. It came in almost entirely assembled with only few parts to attach after unpacking. I didn't receive instructions with it but that may be the norm and for me, at least, wasn't a problem. This easel works for very small canvases to very large canvases AND couldn't be more simple to adjust. It adjusts to a forward position as is desired for pastels and adjusts to a flat or table-like position which meets a variety of needs for the artist. I studied a long time to find just the right one and I found it. It's an engineering feat and I love it.

This easel exceeded my expectations. It arrived early from Jerry's Artarama (as always). It required very little assembly (ready to go in about 5-10 min.). It is very sturdy and yet easy to move. It adjusts to varying positions including a flat position for watercolors. It can hold two canvases at once (I currently have a canvas and drawing board mounted). I have looked at many easels online and in art stores and this is a great deal. I have seen comparable easels go for much more. It is a great easel at a fantastic price.

Hard to tighten it and make it stay at one position.To tighten it properly you will need pliers, your fingers are not enough.Not very happy with this.Armando

Easy to assemble, affordable, sturdy, attractive. I am pleased and have no complaints thus far.

Was missing a few parts. Other then that it was exactly what I was looking for.
