I bought this book for my mother who recently got into sketching in her free time. She had practiced before and is pretty good but this book really helped guide her to get the results she wanted for sketching faces. I can see the progression in her work. She loves this book and let me know it was one of her favorite gifts she received for her birthday.

This is the core information that artists need to evolve. Great content. Can’t wait to practice and freshen up as a long time artist. And recommend artists who are coming up to commit to books like these and study! Nothing wrong with studying even if you feel like you’re already good at something!

I got this book for my granddaughter to teach her how to draw faces. It is very easy to follow step by step instructions.

This is a really great book. It has some easier steps and tips for children, such as imagining a certain size oval for the head with specific placement for eyes, etc., to specific steps great for adults, such as how to draw details of human eyes and lips.

I was suprised how large this book is. I bought it for my Daughter and have to buy a bigger gift bag haha.

This book is amazing. All I need to know. Proportions, features, shading, and most of all teaches all different ages of subjects from babies to the elderly. After buying 8 or more drawing books I could have bought just this one and have learned all I need to know for sketching faces and features. I could not put it down the first day I received it. I bought this as a gift for a nine year old niece who loves to draw. This is great for her but I expected it to be a normal 8.5"x11" sized book.Its more like 11"x17" though. Sort of difficult for her carry around in a backpack and other bags. Size doesn't make sense.

I am enjoying the knowledge of this person. It gives you fresh ideas to try. I found it very helpful. I recommend it. Would make a good gift. Your never to old to learn new things.

Granddaughter loved the books I bought her to help with her drawing. This is just one of them.
