Updated 2-7-2017 (Increased stars from 2 to 3 and revised write-up): Ok product -- light and compact, with a cable that stretches out to almost 48" and then pops back to a coil of about 3.5 inches.It's very easy to change the combination -- just press in the latch as wide as possible, change the numbers, and let the latch snap back. Unfortunately, the combination wheels are extremely small and hard-to-read, and were initially very stiff -- so stiff that I had to use my fingernails to turn them and so was going to return it. However, I sprayed it with dry lock lubricant, and that seems to have loosened them up enough to be usable.I wish they would increase the size of the wheels so that they were easier to see and turn. I use this as a ski lock in freezing weather, so turning the small wheels is very uncomfortable. If they improve that I would give this 5 stars as there is nothing else I've found that is as light and compact and stretches out as long.

Yo have to figure it out by trial and error, so make sure you do the rubix cube thing before trying to use this What works for us is that you need to squeeze the lock mechanism each time when adding the 3 combo numbers. This is not a total security solution for a bike. It's a snatch and grab deterrent if you're at a park or similar in line of site of your property. Good quality for the size. Lightweight. 3 stars are mainly for the programming issues. And the instructions are Asian, so if you don't have a friend to translate, it's back to Rubix Cube trial and error.

My locked arrived today. I set my 3 digit combination, locked it, now it can not be unlocked. Good thing it was a practice run and i didn't lock something up with it. The dials were hard to turn while setting the combination. Don't know if since it was so hard to turn the dials that maybe it registered a different number than i intended. Do not buy this product. i just wasted $15. it is trash now. Will buy another brand.

Won't stop anyone with tools or the time to try ~500 combinations, but certainly deters casual theft. Coils down to about the size of a pack of playing cards; perfect for keeping in a bicycle under-saddle bag for quick (or unplanned stops) when you don't feel like carrying a heavier lock.

Great little lock. I use it for my bicycle. It's super light and compact. I know if a thief really wanted to he could snap this thing with somewhat minimal effort and tools. Though this is a deterrent and slight peace of mind. If I'm just parking and leaving my bike unattended to run into a store for a minute, I feel comfortable using this. Anything longer, I use a more durable lock.

When I first time found this locker, I was attracted by its tiny and portable design. I thought it may be easy to lock my girlfriend's and mine bicycles when we go for bicycling. However, in the reviews I found someone says it is hard to use while others say it is easy. So I only buy one to see how it works. After I received the tiny locker, it is really easy to use according to the instruction on the back of the package since there is only one button for both lock and reset. . You won't mess up with others when you are tired after bicycling. I think I will buy another one for myself too.

I purchased this lock for a backpacking trip to Europe. It's stronger than most the travel locks out there and has good reach for locking my pack to a pole/bench/train/etc. Plus it condenses to very little space and hardly weighs anything.

was not able to set the lock and really thin, if the lock code feature worked it is a good keep, someone, away if they are not serious about stealing anything.
