Jacques Torres Chocolate - Wicked Hot Chocolate in a Tin

This stuff is pretty addicting, and there's a trick here to make the perfect cup of it. Ignore the directions and use 3 tablespoons instead of 4, otherwise the consistency is way too thick and you don't get the same flavor since your literally eating your hot cocoa. I love the added spice--it isn't overpowering like some of the other ones that I've tested out.

The package design looks really cool, and I had heard that this chocolate was "the best" but there wasn't much chocolate in the container for one, and it didn't blend well. As for taste, it was not spicy to me at all, but it was decent. I was let down because the high price and fancy packaging led me to believe I was going to get something special. Nope.

Hands down the best $25 you can spend. Your significant other will agree with you on any issue once handed this elixir. Just spicy enough, savor the heat without the burn. Very few things in life are as indulgent as a cup of this stuff on a cold night. You're worth it, right?

This was good, but there was very little wicked about it, except maybe the price, haha. If you are looking for a sugary or sweet hot chocolate mix, this won't cut it. However, it is very rich and deep in flavor, and you can always add teaspoons of pure cocoa powder, or sugar, etc to change it. I have tried spicy hot chocolate before and that is why I say this isn't wicked, but by no means am I saying that it isn't good.

Being able to order this from Amazon is a much better deal than ordering directly from the company because of the shipping. We love this product and have since we sampled it the very first time when living in NY. It is a joy to have access to it anywhere.

This is SO WAY OVER PRICED!!!!!! BEWARE!!!! you are buying a tin of chocolate powder and paying for the Name of the person Jacques Torres, do not buy!!! this Guy probley didn't even taste this stuff, it's says it has chile powder in it can't taste it, basicly taste like generic hot coco, you would do better just buying the Ibarra mexican chocolate, it is SO MUCH BETTER!!! I wish I didn't spend 30$ on this I could of just filled my car up gas!!! I was robbed!!! in fact I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!! "{

Hot coco with churros!! Yummy!! No one could make a chocolate mix like Jack Torres he’s one of our best chocolatiers I wouldn’t buy it from anybody else it’s amazing!!

The item was a gift and hasn't been used yet. The recipient noticed that the best by date on the bottom says August 2011, I purchased it in November 2011. It was pretty embarrassing to say the least. I don't plan on returning it because it would have to be shipped from Virginia to Connecticut and back to the sellar. Because of that I will never purchase anything from this seller again.
