Da Morgada Tomato Jam (9.8 ounce)

This is the first time I have ordered this type of tomato jam I am so glad I did it is really delicious.

I had -in the past-bought tomato jam from another vendor(kettle Kitchen/some similar name)THAT was totally much better--taste and price wise than the Da Morgada tomato jam.The ONLY nice thing that I could say about the Da Morgada jam is that it was nicely packaged--otherwiseit was a TOTAL rip off!!!!!!

This is not a kiddie jam to be slathered on a peanutbutter sandwich. The Da Morgada Tomato Jam is a sunny and unexpected explosion of subtle flavors best savored on an hors d'oeuvre involving something like Jamon Serrano or Manchego cheese. The jam has a bright color that adds eye appeal and the taste is complex enough to substitute for an aged balsamic vinegar in combination with cheese. It is a wonderful wake-up when served with a basket of warm mini bran muffins. The first taste does not shout tomatoes. In fact, unless someone is familiar with this hard to find treat or is looking at the label, the tomatoes could be a surprise. The jam is not overly sweet and there is just a hint of cinnamon. Thanks to Amazon, you won't need to travel all the way to Portugal to get a jar. Yummmmmmm.

Delicious! Pricey, but delicious. Which I got more for the price. I use it so much I probably need to buy a couple of jars a month. Shipping takes nearly two weeks so plan accordingly. But the stuff is fantastic.

This is the best tomato jam I have tasted, and I have tried a lot. It's excellent, with the right amount of tomato and consistency. I recommend it highly.

Bought this because it was recommended. Sorry, didn't care for it. Will finish the jar and then go back to what I was using in the first place.

I tried a tomato jam back in 2016 in Ibiza, Spain. Ever since I looked for it in the USA but was never able to find it until now. Delicious!
