Quality. Control. Comfort. Results.
The best brush for my type of hair! The blend of boars hair & synthetic bristles feel great on my scalp & runs smoothly through my hair bringing a nice luster. The brush Hanfle is beautiful glossy wood with tiny brass screws - looks like a well made tool. It fits comfortably in my hand with no sharp edges. The rounded edges and flat sides help the brush stay steady in my hand (it doesn't swivel).

Very nice brush - one improvement would be nice
I do like this brush a lot. Would give it five stars with one exception. The bristle pad is held on the brush with screws, which I thought - great, as they wear out, I can get a replacement bed and keep using the handle. Unfortunately, Bass does not have replacement parts. With attempting to improve our world, it would be nice to make these parts as the handle will probably last a lifetime.

Amazing hair brushes, I will never use anything else!
I found these hairbrushes in a local natural goods store over 10 or 15 years ago -- I've gone back to purchase brushes twice in that time -- once to add a brush for travel so I never lost the one at home, and recently due to wear on the brushes. They are long lasting, have a nice feel, and work really well on my fine thin hair. They easily brush out tangles without too much hassle without pulling out my hair. They are also nice to look at.

A bit of effort required for cleanup but otherwise a great brush
This is a nice brush. The nylon bristles help remove any knots from hair so I don't have to pre-brush to remove knots before using a boar bristle brush. The boar bristles themselves distribute natural hair oils evenly across hair and my hair is always shiny and soft after using this brush. The only real problem I have with the brush is that it gets dirty very easily and it can be a pain to clean. Broken hair, dust, oil, etc. tends to get stuck in the individual bristle spikes on the brush and I have to use a little hook tool to remove it.

CHEAP BRUSH THAT FALLS APART IN 3-6 MONTHS - DON'T BUY
I've used this brush for a while now and can honestly say its HORRIBLE..!!! The little soft plastic tips start to fall off in 3-6 months and leave a SHARP plastic SPIKE left over. After sever of tips fall off, this brush will start to scrape your scalp and you will get SCRATCH EVERYWHERE... this is a PIECE OF JUNK and does not last long at all... Save your money and buy another brush that is going to last you for years to come. Because this on does NOT last and will end up SCRATCHING your head, VERY PAINFUL... RUN AWAY, while you still have the chance. DON'T BUY...!!!! RUN, RUN, for god sake RUN!!!!

Twice the brush, half the work
I have long, thick, very fine hair. It's an unusual combination that gives me more problems than it should. Until finding this brush, I would spend every morning first detangling my hair with a peg brush, then following up with a smoothing nylon bristle brush. Not very good for scalp or hair health. Using just one or the other would leave me with lumpy "hair horns" peaking up through my otherwise styled hair. Other boar bristle brushes just weren't robust enough to push all the way through my thick hair. This brush lets me do both steps at once, and still has the boar bristles to gently spread the scalp's natural oils along the length of my hair. Very happy with this purchase.

I have long straight hair that gets very dry in ...
I have long straight hair that gets very dry in the desert climate I live in. I bought the brush to help distribute my hair's natural oils, to combat the dryness. The boar bristles are short compared to the plastic bristles. However, there are a lot of them and they are certainly long enough to reach my scalp. The handle is solid wood and the bristles are set into a rubber inset. The brush looks way more expensive than it is. Since using the brush, my hair seems to be less dry at the tips and less oily at the scalp. I am a big fan.

I LOVE this brush
I have very long, thick hair and to keep it healthy I only use boar's hair bristle brushes. Bass brushes are the only ones with strong enough reinforced plastic bristles to get through my hair. I LOVE this brush. Extremely well built, lasts for YEARS when cleaned properly. It is strong enough to handle thick hair down to the base of my back/my bum, it keeps my scalp healthy while keeping my hair clean & strong by spreading my natural oils throughout the entire length of my hair. Even with hair this long and in a hot, dry climate like Texas, I have NO split ends because the boar's hair keeps my natural oils even spread from scalp to ends. I cannot say enough good things about this product.
