Black bean sauce/ paste 140g-Made from Fresh ingredients

Very good quality but it looks like some people are using too much. I mixed one desert spoon of it with chopped ginger, chilli, garlic, coriander, soy sauce and sesame oil. Cut a piece of steak into strips and marinate it in your mix. Meanwhile fry onion, chopped peppers and mushrooms. Then add the steak and cook for one minute. Add the rest of your mix adding a little hot water to create the sauce. Check for seasoning and thicken with a tsp of corn flour slaked in a little cold water. It works realy well with boiled rice.

On my second tub of this and will continue to use. Rather pricey, but worth it. I am not being paid for this review.

Don't be fooled by the massive jpeg they use to advertise this sauce. If I had known the portion was so little then I would have looked elsewhere for a better deal.The sauce itself is very tasty and made the instant noodles I'm currently having to live off much more interesting but it's simply not worth the cost.

I used it to marinate chicken. But made sauce out of it with added garlic and soy sauce. Was gorgeous. Everyone cleaned the plate.

If you want 'genuine' this is it.

Rich, fresh & totally authentic. Cooked salmon with it, worked amazingly.

This was recommended to me by a friend - I tried it this evening and it was brilliant. It says it’s restaurant-quality - I thought it made for better food than I get in most restaurants.
