The Big Guy LOVES these, but they disappear VERY quickly
Our King Shepherd, Tatanka, absolutely loves these Turkey Tendon treats, so much so, he insists on bringing in the Amazon box from the front entrance, so he can open the package and then "persuade" me to open the package and give him one of these. One small issue is he thinks EVERY Amazon box should have a case of these Turkey Tendon's in it. At the rate its going, that just might happen............ If I move too slowly, he will take it upon himself to rip open the main Amazon box and then get the box of the Turkey Tendons torn open. I just don't want to risk him tearing open the plastic packaging or getting a hold of the "freshness packet" somehow as that's not to be ingested or chewed upon...... The Good news, he likes them so much, I can convince him to do what he needs to do, in order to get one. For example, he is a super picky eater, but when I let him know he can have one of these knotted Turkey Tendon's if he eats his dinner, the dinner disappears. He tends to be very stubborn, but he will eat his dinner, so he can have one of these treats. We have purchased the tendon strips, the tendon rings and the tendon "knotted chews", which are the subject of this review. The strips literally don't last a minute. The tendon rings, he eats them like they are Onion Rings (which dogs should NEVER have, as onions are not good for them.....) but the tendon rings are about the same size and even look sort of like onion rings, that's why I made the reference. If I would let him, Tatanka would eat these like nacho chips. We try and use them to either encourage the desired behavior or reward the best behavior. Don't get me wrong, he's a very intelligent and well behaved K9, he just knows what he wants and is very determined to get what he wants.....so it often comes down to a test of wills. (ok, I will admit, I lose often as he just has that face that hard to tell no)....Plus he and I are best pals. From all appearances, the Turkey Tendon treats appear to be a healthier treat as they claim. Our big guy is in excellent health and his blood tests are all good, his body weight is perfect. But that's because moderation is used. If It were up to Tonkee, he would eat the entire box for dinner. But he eats Farmers Dog Fresh Food and gets these Turkey Tendons purely as a treat and no more than 1 per day........(well, usually no more than once per day, as I mentioned, he is very persuasive and I am a softie when it comes to this big guy). I prefer these over any raw hides, etc for my guy. He doesn't like 99% of the dog treats on the market, simply not interested in any of them and won't even take them. But these, he loves...... Somehow, these are now on our Auto Shipment or Subscription. A case of the knotted chews and a case of the rings......wonder how that happened? Thank goodness for the discount coupon of nearly $30 I have been able to use for the last several months. Expensive, but worth it as he absolutely LOVES these Turkey Tendons............

🦃 All-Natural Turkey Tendon Chew — Healthy, Hypoallergenic Fun! 🐶✨
I’ve been giving my pup the Afreschi Natural Turkey Tendon Bone (L) from their Signature Series, and it’s honestly one of the best treats we’ve found! 🦃💯 Sourced right here in the USA and made with human-grade, all-natural turkey tendons, it’s a wholesome, rawhide-free alternative that keeps my dog happily chewing for hours. 🙌🏾🐾 This large bone is perfect for strong chewers and is hypoallergenic — great for pups with sensitive tummies or allergies. 🌿👌🏾 The texture is just right to satisfy chewing instincts without any worries about artificial ingredients or fillers. 🐕💚 I love that it’s a single, sturdy unit per pack, making it easy to manage and perfect for training or long-lasting chewing sessions. Plus, knowing it’s a clean, natural product makes it a total win for both my dog’s health and my peace of mind! 🐶✨ If you want a natural, USA-sourced chew that’s safe, tasty, and keeps tails wagging, this turkey tendon bone is a must-have! 🦃🔥

Gone fast
Dog ate the whole thing in under 10 minutes, she loved it. However very expensive for such a short amount of time,so maybe won’t buy too often. Long lasting is a LIE

Tasty, but expensive
The dogs love it, but it is really expensive for only getting four tendons.

Freschi turkey tendon format analysis
I have a 50lb Craigslist husky mix that looks and acts like a wolf (she might be), with an extremely strong bite (marks on my arm to prove it). She mowws through treats when she likes them, but is particular about the taste and smell of them, so rawhide and gross feet and inedible horns are out of the question. She loves the K9 kabobs but they only last about 30 seconds before she's asking for another one, and I mistakenly bought the version with the hard red strip that resembles a trash bag twist tie, assumed they changed their recipe, so looked elsewhere. They didn't, in fact, change their recipe, I just bought the wrong version. So in the meantime, I replaced those with the Freschi turkey tendon treats. I wanted an edible and non-carcinogenic (as far as I know) dog treat that doesn't smell like an old man's foot and provides some hint of nutrition. So I stumbled upon Freshi turkey tendons. As far as I can tell without her being able to tell me otherwise, from a dog that eats human scraps, Purina chicken kibble, and lots of Jack Link's jerky, she fully enjoys Freschi turkey tendons. From my perspective, I've recorded how long it takes her to eat the different varieties, in order to determine the best value per minute of time spent chewing. If you're reading this review for the large bones, you're looking for something that lasts more than 1 minute for a >$10 dog treat, and here's your info: Freschi turkey tendon time spent chewing, by format: Large bone: 17:32 Large ring: 9:51 Large rope: 5:47 Chew (braided) : 2:12 Strip: <30 seconds The other varieties have yet to be sampled, but this assortment is strong enough to healthily reward and distract a deserving pup for any selection of time. If a chew lasts longer than 20 mins, she'll either be full or bored, so these offerings deliver exactly as expected. Just be sure to buy the large bones if you're looking for >15 mins activity, as the packaging between large and medium bones looks similar.

Dangerous you could choke
I bought this bone for my French bulldog and it actually killed her. She got part of it caught in her throat cause it was so flexible and soft and she couldn’t get it out and she suffocated and died. I lost my best friend and I’ll never be able to get her back cause I thought I was doing something good.

Not long-lasting
They are not very long-lasting, but the dog really likes them.

Great taste and dog loves.
My dog did love the taste and flavor but he trys to swallow and almost choked. We wouldn't buy again.
