With so many more people quarantining at home, there is way more "dog-walking." Many don't know that dog urine burns vegetation; dog feces - "but we pick it up!" - still leave traces behind. All of which encourages even MORE dogs to venture onto private property. And, yes. Dogs also defecate as a way to mark territory. My one daughter's one dog did that. Some humans would like to be able to call that up on command, ha. Anyways, I digress.We want to get a jump on summer when our lawns get super stressed under San Antonio, Texas sun -- especially once the irrigation restrictions start up. And though we appreciate the humor behind the squatting dog-type signs and we feeeel the irritation of the sarcastic signs (and were tempted), we needed to keep it low-key and subtle (the brown color is lovely) for this gated community that, technically, doesn't allow signage. We are prepared to go to battle for this one, however, as we are also required to maintain our lawns and dogs do NOT make that possible when they get up onto landscaping to mark territory; eventually every dog (except those of knowledgeable owners) adds to the burden and nothing grows in that "favored" spot. Our own dog isn't even allowed onto our own front lawn. All that to say, this sign hit all the right spots and delivery speed was amazing! Ordered it Saturday night, April 4; it was delivered Tuesday morning, April 7. And the price is very reasonable. My husband works in metal; he fashioned the aluminum mounting "posts." He found it useful to add a washer when mounting the sign to the post, using stainless screws (and washer). Pounded it in low to the ground to maintain subtlety and it is still very readable. Very pleased. Two neighbors (who have been silently gnashing their teeth) have asked me where to buy these. I'm printing out the description, and hopefully, the manufacturer can keep up with orders :)

Last week I ordered, and promptly received, a "No Dogs Please" sign to place on a vacant lot I own, which some neighbors are allowing their dogs to use as a toilet. Having stepped in the canine excrement while walking on my own lot, I realized that I could not depend upon common neighborhood decency to keep my lot free from doggie debris. So yesterday I bolted the 6x12" Sigo Sign to a stout wooden signpost I made, took it out to the land, and placed it at the front of the property (where the dogs were entering). While there, two of my neighbors who have dogs happened by while I was doing the work. Not only did they see the sign I was erecting, but I also spoke to them (diplomatically of course) about my resolve to terminate any further dog dumps on my property. It was a productive day all around. The neighbors were friendly and very compliant, and the professional SIGO sign remains on the property in the event anyone else is taking their dog for a little walk in hopes of finding a convenient dumping ground. There are many no-dog type signs out there, but I chose this particular one because it was relatively small, has earth-tone type colors, and blends in well with the wooded surroundings. I did not want a sign that was a brightly colored eyesore (as many are), nor did I want a comedic silly sign of a dog doing its business (as there are also many of this type - may be funny, but not appropriate in my upscale neighborhood). This sign is perfect for my needs, gets the job done, and none of my upper-class neighbors will object to its appearance. I would highly recommend this sign to anyone who wishes to deliver a "no nonsense" message to neighbors without offending them in any way. The construction of the sign is professional grade, and looks like it will last for many years out there on the land. It is strong and durable, just what I was seeking, and at a price that is totally affordable for anyone. Plastic signs fade and crack in short order, so I would recommend this one. You will not be the least bit disappointed at the quality!

I used this product to be honest with my neighbors. I got really tired of people "outside" our neighborhood walking their dogs and using our lawns as their dog's personal dumping ground. I will never understand why people can't use their own yards. Walk your dog in the street until you get home and THEN your dog can go in YOUR grass. Product is well made and should last several years.

The most important question you have is --'does it work" meaning to say, do people really stop their dogs from taking a dump on your property. The answer is yes. I've had some good luck with this product. The sign says "NO DOGS" and most people can read which is a plus because dogs can't read. I love dogs and all animals but dog poop is a major yuck. This sign helps dog owners to avoid using your property as a toilet. It's small and visible so people can see it. The only issue that I had is that the product didn't come with any bolt screws so I had to drill the sign with some stainless steel screws to secure it.

The sign does what it is supposed to. It communicates the message well while being elegant enough (to my taste). Well made and legible, it would be nice if dogs could read it too, but perhaps the next version will have this feature...

This sign is great! It is subtle in color and message, yet protects me and my dog if someone decides to bring their dog or themselves onto my property.

A nice brown color that goes well on my woodland property street front. aluminum won't rust; not real thick but not flimsy either. I mounted on a 3 ft fence post and had to drill a extra hole in post to match up with bottom hole of the sign. I bough 1 inch long. 1/4 inch diameter zinc bolts and washers to mount to pole.

Will use a garden fence stake and cable ties, but it hasn't blown away in the wind leaning on some spring plants.

The sign is extremely nice, quite strong compare to others. Very easy to install. Comes with predrilled holes. The delivery time was really fast and I even received a follow up letter to thank me for my purchase.
