Pete the Cat and the Treasure Map: A Swashbuckling Adventure for Kids

My kids have a ton of pete the cat books so we got this as a Christmas gift to add to their collection! They love them all!

My grandson, who is 3.5 years old, loves Pete the Cat. He also is into pirates at the moment. When I saw this book, I knew he would enjoy it. He loves it! He visits our house every week and, while I read to him often during the visit, one of our favorite times is just before nap when we do some stickers and read a book of his choice. This book combines both activities into one. We read the story and then place two stickers – his choice of whether they go in the book, on his shirt or on the back of his hands. The stickers are well made enough that they stick no matter where he puts them. The story is a cute adventure looking for treasure. There are pirates, treasure, a monster, and some pretty cool music. It's a long enough story to be a good nap time one and looks like it will be a fairly easy reader when he is a bit older.

You can't go wrong with a Pete the Cat book! They always have a good story line. Kids love them! Including my grand son who asked me to get him Pete the Cat books for him to read! This book is soft cover & has paper pages. Came to me in great condition & by the promised date. I highly recommend this seller!

I think you have to be a kid to appreciate Pete the Cat books. So a giant octopus comes out of the water thrashing around his enormous tentacles. Any sane person would think he's trying to sink the boat. But no, not Pete the Cat. His first through is the octopus is just trying to drum on the water and that he should pull out his guitar and start a band. Seriously!? Either way its a hit with the kids. To many words for a beginner reader to be able to ready by herself in one night, but a great, captivating story.

Fantastico... immagini belle colorate che aiutano tantissimo a comprendere gran parte di quello che viene comunicato con i dialoghi e le parti narrate. Pete ottimista come sempre, porta una ventata di allegria in qualsiasi piccola e grande avventura che intraprende.

Este livro é lúdico, engraçado e muito bom para crianças que estão aprendendo inglês e até mesmo adultos. É uma leitura ilustrativa e interessante.
