Love the smell and worked well on my son - I used it on my own hands for dryness as well!

Good Cream
I like the fact that it is all natural and doesn't have a greasy filmy feel. Good product.

Good cream
Thicker and stronger than the drug store (aveeno) versions on the market. Also smells nice without being perfumy

Brave Benny is now a proud member of our family!
Our 16 month old has sensitive skin that, on a few occasions, our pediatrician has noted looks like eczema. While his flares were always pretty mild and sporadic, as a mother you will do almost anything to prevent discomfort to your child. We worked really hard to find a regimen that moisturized and prevented irritated skin. We were able to come up with a few different lotions, bath treatments, washes, etc that when used routinely, prevented redness and rashes. As he gets older we are noticing that his skin is much more tolerant of things. He recently ran out of his usual lotion and we decided to give this a try.Pros:1. It is a nice consistency. It isn't so thick that a lot of product is needed to coat the skin, but is also not thin either. We felt that it applied very smoothly, which in turn prevents a lot of tugging at the skin that can cause further irritation.2. Our son loves "Benny" the duck on the packaging. He loves to hold the bottle and talk to Benny while we lotion him down after his bath.3. The bottle size is actually much larger than we expected for an eczema lotion. Usually they are very small or very expensive for a bigger bottle.4. His skin felt superrrrrr soft and moisturized after using it. I don't think that the moisture carried over into the next day like some of his other heavy duty lotions, but was plenty for bedtime.5. While I can't comment on the ability to reduce redness, irritation, rash, etc as the product claims to do because our son is free of them at this time, I can say that it works at preventing these issues well. We have used for about a week now and see no signs of eczema or sensitivity.Cons:1. This lotion does not have a pleasant smell. I was happy when I saw that no fragrances were added, and figured that it would still smell pretty good given the shea butter, oatmeal, and various oils added. That, however, is not the case. I find the smell to be pretty chemical like. It dissipates relatively quickly after applied, but definitely does not smell like something you should be applying to a baby.2. The edges of the cap and corners of the bottle are sharp. This may not be a problem for most people, but since our son is obsessed with ducks and loves Benny, holding the bottle while we apply lotion has proven to give him several scrapes due to this sharp edges.3. Some of the ingredients listed are known triggers for eczema prone skin (ie some alcohols and other chemicals). Our son hasn't had any issues and the lotion seems to be keeping symptoms as bay, but again, his case is mild. Just be sure to read the ingredient list closely and decide if this product it right for you.Overall, I think that this lotion does a great job at preventing flares. It has superb moisturizing properties and makes our son's skin feel very soft. We wish that it smelled better, but that is a small price to pay for healthy ingredients and happy baby skin. We will probably look at purchasing this brand again in the future.

A Non-Greasy Eczema Lotion
My husband has eczema on his hands and when he has a flare it is miserable. It is painful and he has tried so many things that simply do not work. Eczema is the worst. This lotion is not a cure. Here is what my husband did notice.Unlike most Eczema lotions, this one is does absorb nicely. It's not horribly greasy and is easy to use on his hands. He does not like the scent. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan either. For a baby lotion I was a little surprised at how this lotion smelled. I'm not sure if they were going for scent free, but they did not get it quite right. This is a large tube of lotion. Eight ounces does not seem like a lot, but this tube, compared to our tube of 8 ounces of sunscreen is gigantic. We have paid more for less lotion that did nothing. We try to avoid lotions with extras and this lotion has no parabens, sulfates, or phthalates. My husband really just applies what ever I put on his nightstand, but I try very hard to keep these chemicals out of our house. If you have a baby, this should be even more important. My husband is still using his prescription eczema cream, but between serious flares he is going to continue to use this lotion and see if the number of aggravating flares decreases.
