Do you need to use both shampoo and conditioner? If you do, does your hair get a little too blue/ purple?

I use both. I leave the shampoo in for about 10 minutes, then use the conditioner just until it's thru all the hair, then rinse. It's not darker purple. I have long beautiful white/gray hair that comes out a very pretty pale lavender in the sunlight. I love these milk shake products

Do you use the conditioner with the shampoo?

Yes I do. I let them both stay in my hair for a few minutes before rinsing. I have long, fine, silver hair, with just a hint of the purple color. It's easy to comb out after a towel dry and leaves my hair soft n shiney. I'll keep using them both about once a week for maintainance.
