Loved it, good movie

What more to sayThey are what my kids asked for. They have watched these over and over.

There are reviews for this DVD set that claim they received bootleg discs. At first it looked like that may be the case for mine as well, but I believe they are authentic, just rushed through the manufacturing process. The first potential red flag was that the plastic wrap was unsealed at one end and the DVD case slipped right out. The second potential red flag was that the disc for the "original" 1998 movie has the logo for the 1967 movie. I checked the disc in my player, and it is actually the 1998 movie. I assume since this product was out of stock for a while, the production was rushed to get it into stores, leading to faulty plastic wrapping and incorrect logos. All other discs are fine. I accept Disc 1 as a fascinating collectable.

Great purchase!

The man Dr. Dolittle CD was cute and funny. The other CDs did not have him in it and story around the eldest girl who now took the star role was not so funny but was ok. The animals were the best by far. If you like all kinds of animals talking you will enjoy these movies.

My 6 year old and 4 year old absolutely loved all of these movies. They kept watching them multiple times. I think they have their favorites of the #2 and #4 movie, but I liked #1 & #2 because they had Eddie Murphy in them. His humor is priceless regardless if he is acting for a family movie like these or for a more adult (R) rated move which these are not.This is a great way to purchase all 4 movies and keep them together also. They are in two hard plastic DVD holders, one with #'s 1 & 2 and the other with #'s 3 & 4. The two plastic DVD holders are in the cardboard sleeve you see in the picture.
