It works!
We use two of these every year for on outkodr haloween party. I tend to use my own stronger string as i need it to be a bit sturdy outside. I would suggest using two drops if you have more then 20-30 kids.

Tricky
This really was a hit at our party, but it was tricky to do.Here's some issues, tips.1). Very small opening for balloon. We used an electric balloon inflator machine, and blew up each balloon INSIDE the bag, with just the tail sticking out.2) It's tricky not to rip. I used tape to secure it so it wouldn't rip before it was time. Removed the tape after everything was done.3) I used some string on each loop to be able to get the bag a little away from the wall. Otherwise it was too tight.4) Takes 2 people for both assembly and execution. If you just pull the rip cord, the bag is going to fall down. One person has to hold the bag (probably standing on a ladder), and the other can rip the cord.5) Fill up balloons different sizes so you can fit in more and fill in the gaps.I hope this helps! Broke
This was very disappointing. When we tried to pull the string for the balloon drop the loops used to hang the bag broke so the whole thing came down without opening. We were using it for a children's party and it was so disappointing. The tabs they attached to the bag in order to hang it up were only sown on and very thin so they tore easier than the string to open the bag and let the balloons drop. Basically, it did not work. I had better success when I made my own.

Good for more than one thing!
I love this item! I didn’t actually use it for a balloon drop bag, I used it for just a balloon holder to transport a bunch of helium balloons toooo our party location. It held so many balloons andI was able to get the balloons in and out of my car without feeling like I was in a balloon fight.
