A little stiff but it'll soften eventually. I really dig this style of cap, especially with the shorter bill. Could definitely see myself wearing this for a long time or buying a replacement cap, for sure.

The way this hat feels is my favorite. You can wear it backwards, and not have the bill hit your headrest when you’re driving. Everything about this hat is perfect.

I wore this out during the 4th if July weekend and my sweat seeped through. The fit is nice and comfortable.

Works great for Umpires who use only a face mask. The small hat bill will hold your mask just fine.Small umpire tip, make sure to pour some water in your hat on those hot days when you sweat in it. Your forehead sweat will create a white calcium line on the hat (this is true with all black hats, not just this one). Simply between games, pour a little water on the forehead part of the hat. Umpires always want to look their best, and keeping those calcium white lines off your hat is important.

I am 5' 3", and while I love baseball caps, most of them come with a bill that is just way too big on my head. This cap and bill are a perfect size for me. To give you an idea of how this will fit, my head is about 22.5" round where the cap rests. The bill of the cap is just about 2". That should help you determine if this is the right size hat for you. Has a Firm cap, was looking for a relaxed cap so I could get comfortable with it... sad thing is I ordered 2, dif colors...smh

I am an umpire and need the short bill. I also have long hair and need a hat that IS NOT fitted so I can tie my hair back and let it come out the adjusting strap area. Perfect for me! All round good quality.
