AzureGreen Goddess Athame

This athame is great! I'm very pleased with it. I read all the reviews here & on other sites that sell the same blade. It's much heavier than I expected. (That's a good thing) & it feels very good in your hands. When I first pulled the blade from the sheath - the blade was dirty. It had some sticky spots that looked like they were from adhesive stickers maybe, and some other spots that washed right off. Not sure why a brand new blade would appear used - but like I said... It washed clean.The blade is stamped stainless steel and is heavy. The point is very sharp and the double edges are dull. Another reviewer found that problematic, but I like it. I won't be cutting with it so for me dull is OK.The hilt is attractive, but I can't decide if it's thin metal or heavy plastic. Prior to ordering, I read another reviewer who said something similar and I thought.. "how can you not tell plastic from metal?" Now I get it. Either way. It's attractive and works fine.I'm very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this.

This athame is gorgeous. Beautiful detail. Heavy, sturdy crafted. Sharp, as one would expect. The sheath has a very nice, firm grip on the blade. Only surprise is that - I'm pretty sure the sheath is actually plastic, although not really disappointed, just surprised by that. The athame is stainless steel, and is etched as such. Overall, very happy. Definitely a fair price.

This is a beautiful piece of solid weight and appropriate length. Very pleased. Well-made. It was made for me and fits nicely in my hand. The box it came in could be better, but I view it as a universal hint I need to find a "special" wooden box and cloth to wrap it in for storage. It is that nice and has a wonderful energy about it. I ordered another athame to begin a collection, but IT stopped it. It was lost in the mail letting me know - for now, its just the Goddess, the one for me!

It is a really pretty product. However there was some scratching already on the outside of it when received. It's still perfect for my use, so it doesn't bother me too much, but only four stars because I know that most people would want it in New condition.

The weight and craftmanship behind this athame took me by surprise. I wasn't expecting it to be that heavy. The design, weight, balance, and feel is just way better than I thought it would be. Very good quality and product for the price.

This thing is beautiful. It's heavy metal, bigger than expected, that was a pleasant surprise.I haven't used it for any spells yet but look forward to it
