Nice entry point into speciality coffee
Good quality product. Watched a couple of youtube videos and was able to extract some really good flavors from the coffee after a couple of attempts. Comes with a plastic scoop which is the perfect amount of coffee for a 250ml cup. Easy to clean and store and does not take much space.

Great and clear brew - but needs practice.
It might seem counter intuitive but the plastic version of this filter is probably the best buy as it doesn't absorb too much heat, thereby negatively affecting the extraction. Here's the deal with this filter - it's quite easy to mess up the coffee quality if you aren't careful. If you do not enjoy dosing the right amount of coffee and being exact with the process, just get a french press or even better an aeropress (markup by Indian retailers is outrageous). You need consistent medium-coarse grind ( slightly coarse texture of table salt) and a weighing scale (yes this is needed). My method which took quite some time to work out:1. 20 grams of coffee for 300 ml of water (use a couple of grams more for lighter roasts)2. Rinse the paper filter with hot water to preheat the cup and cone as well as remove any "bleachy" taste from the paper.3. Add your ground coffee and tare your weighing scale (the cup, filter cone and coffee should be on the scale as we only want to measure the water weight going forward)4. Your water temperature is crucial - boiling hot for light roasts and ~90 degrees for darker roasts.5. Add 60 grams of water and gently stir the coffee to ensure water mixes well with the coffee. This shouldnt take mroe than 30 seconds6. Add 150 grams of water within the next 30 seconds and gently swirl your spoon over the top of the water.7. Keep adding 30 grams of water and keep the level of water topped up as you need the hot water to extract coffee.8. Ideally you should be done by 2:30 - 3:30 minutes. Any longer means you have ground too fine and vice versa if brew time is too fast.I hope you are patient with this nice tool, I like it much better than the clever dripper. The resultant coffee is so clean and bright. It works best with lighter roasts and brings out the flavor of the coffee beans so well.

Best Thing for Pour over Coffee
I accidentally started with the filter papers with no knowledge about this thing so it was incredibly messy in the beginning. But once I got this, it has been a steady use. If you can find a setup with the filter papers which works for you that's good otherwise this is a good purchase.
