Great speaker/mic, don't be "that person"
So far great speaker/mic. I should have got one years ago as always working remotely. I would not use this for a stereo speaker but does have good sound. No feed back on conference calls so you won't be that annoying person that needs to mute because your making a person sound as if they are taking with a delay hearing themselves after they speak. Can't stand that!!!! Mute works with no one hearing you muting yourself. Works on BT or via USB cable. Battery lasts most of the work day 10hours. Can use BT with phone and have it hooked to computer with USB. Haven't tried it with 2 BT connected. Soft touch buttons and no question if your muted or not. Yeah it's a bit pricey but you pay for what you get. Easy set up just change your computers sound settings. Don't be that person, recommend this!

Yamaha never disappoints
Surprisingly small and lightweight - but as a result does not have the power to be a remote speaker for backyard party. Still, more than adequate as a speakerphone.Sound quality is fantastic - as I have come to expect from Yamaha through the use of their pro audio gear. Expecting this to be just as reliable.Controls are simplicity itself and I have not had to open the manual at all. Pairing with Windows 10 BT and Android was a breeze.Update: One thing to note - it looks like it can be paired with two devices, but it cannot simultaneously connect with two BT devices (as my Plantronics headphone can). You have to disconnect from the first device to connect with another.

Great sound, but has bugs Yamaha refuses to fix
I really like the sound quality, and people tell me I sounds good on calls. And it's great that the mute button synchronizes with Zoom. But this speakerphone has two annoying bugs that make it hard to live with, neither of which was a problem with my previous USB speakerphone.First, from time time (about once a day with frequent usage), the microphone will cut out in the middle of speaking. To fix it, I have to unplug and replug the USB, and then the mic comes back. I'm on a Mac, connected by USB, so don't know if it's specific to Mac. But I haven't had this problem with other USB speakerphones I have used with this computer (Jabra, etc.).Second, I use the speaker just for calls, and use the Mac's built-in speakers for other audio. The YVC-200 speaker is optimized for voice, and so sounds tinny for general audio. I have had other brands of similar products in the past, and it's great to be able to separately control the computer sound with the volume keys on the keyboard and the call sound with the volume buttons on the USB speakerphone. Unfortunately, when you use the volume buttons on the YVC-200, in addition to adjusting its own volume, it sends "volume up/down" keypresses to the computer, which causes it to also adjust the Mac speakers. So, if I have the Mac speakers muted, and then need to raise the volume on the YVC-200, it also unmutes the Mac speakers and raises the volume. I have reached out to Yamaha support and had a frustrating conversation in which the person told me this wasn't a bug and in fact I was wrong to not want it to work this way.

Pricey, but worth it.
When I first plugged it in, I could hear my voice echoing through the speakers every time I talked—I resolved it by unplugging the USB cable, restarting the computer, and plugging it in again. Hasn't happened since. The online meeting attendees said it was the best sound they've heard from me.

Outstanding and versatile product!
I am very impressed with the Yamaha YVC-200 Mobile Conference Phone! It sounds great and has a wonderful collection of features. I especially love that I can connect it to my laptop via USB and listen to music from my Amazon Echo by Bluetooth at the same time.It is quick and easy to set up, works well with Zoom and other videoconferencing applications. Bonus points for being battery powered, which allows it to be highly portable and flexible. The YVC-200 is an excellent addition to my toolkit! I have used it in my office, in conference rooms and in classrooms with no problems.

Incredible clarity, set up, ease of use, and portability
So I’m not going to lie, I bought this because 1. I was looking for something exactly like this and 2. Because I saw it in the background of a video on Barstool. I figured if it’s something they bought for their new office and aren’t plugging it, then it must be really good. So mine arrived and I tested it in all environments. I specifically ask everyone I’m talking to what I sound like on the other end, and they say it sounds like I have the headset to my ear, which was my biggest concern in buying a product like this. Bottom line, I’m really happy with my purchase, it does sound really good and call clarity is awesome. I’m glad I trusted my gut. But, I’m bummed because Barstool made an ad for it so now I look like a plant or something. I promise I’m not!

Problem with my Surface Laptop 2
Having one issue. While I am using some of the office software on my laptop, the speaker freezes the sound and its setting on Windows. To fix that I need to reconnect the USB, and this is happening frequently in an hour.Did factory reset, firmware update, driver update, and trouble shooting on Windows Sound setting, but it is not solved at all. This does not happen with Polycom USB speaker, which I thought this was YVC-200 device issue, but according to Yamaha Support engineer, this is my laptop issue. If you have Surface Laptop 2, I would not suggest to buy this product. Perhaps Jabra can do much better.

Sending this back...
This product has a problem when simultaneously connected to a computer as a speaker and a bluetooth devices. Should be able to support two devices at a time when they are being used one at a time.

A remarkable product!
I have quite an experience to share out here.I knew that once the lockdown began, work from home would require me to be on zoom meets for at least 2-3 hours each day which isn’t a stretch. Wearing a headset provides one a good experience and one can also manage holding a phone to their ear as long as you don’t get a barrage of phone calls. But with WFH, not only it is inevitable for one to be on calls constantly but it is also the only way of communicating with your Team and your peers. So, I started my research on Conference speakerphones and after watching several Youtube videos, I decided to give this product a shot. I placed my order on 28th May and the product was delivered the next day and I was super excited to put it to use. As expected, this product turned out to be the best in its class. It has a superb design, great mic pickup range, crystal clear audio reception with a perfectly adequate volume and your friends, peers, loved ones and Team members can hear you even when you are 3-4 feet away from the speaker. Full duplex audio conferencing stands out on zoom calls. Even though this product fulfilled all my WFH needs for me to get a seamless experience, I did more research online and watched more YouTube videos to check if there were better conference speakerphones available. I did it as my wife also felt the need to buy one of these speakerphones and rightly so after being a witness to my great WFH experience. I read, heard and watched a lot of great reviews on Jabra speak 710 because it boasted of HD audio clarity, awesome mic pick up range and had longer battery life than Yamaha yvc 200. I didn’t immediately buy it as it was priced at Rs 38000 and some change but I had my eyes on the product. The moment I found the deal to buy Jabra at Rs 24900, I bought it. After it arrived, I gave my Yamaha yvc 200 to my wife and she happily took it and absolutely loved it. When I started using the Jabra product, the call answer button never worked, the battery didn’t seem to last long and it had audio dropouts. I even compared the speaker volume of Yamaha with Jabra and Yamaha sounded way better, clearer and louder. I concluded that may be I received a faulty product as Jabra 710 is considered to be a premium product. So, I submitted my request for hand in hand return and exchange and with Amazon’s great service, it happened the very next day. The issue with the call answer function was definitely resolved however the audio dropouts were experienced with the new one too. I thought the seller had all the faulty Jabra products which explained the cheaper price. I was debating whether to wait till another seller made this product available so I could buy it. I was a little disappointed with Yamaha as there are some features Jabra had which Yamaha didn’t (seperate call answer and hang up buttons, place the 1st call on hold and answer the line 2 call, connect multiple devices to Bluetooth simultaneously). However, Yamaha is operable on Bluetooth without having to connect any cord to it when the battery is fully charged as one end of the cord has Type B usb which can be connected and disconnected directly from the device itself and the other end had Type A usb which connects to the laptop/PC. Jabra, on the other end, is also fully functional wirelessly but has a cord which is directly attached to the device and can be neatly and smartly wrapped around the body of the device but if slipped out of your hand, is likely to cause permanent damage to the product. After a long and careful consideration, I decided to stop going over conference speakerphones with a fine-tooth comb online and quit being fussy. With Yamaha, I overlooked its lack of ability to connect with multiple devices via Bluetooth even though I have 2 cell phones as it delivered just the kind of experience one would need for WFH and conference calls. I now own 2 of these devices and absolutely don’t regret my decision to do so.
