Q: How does the color of the lighting work, does it cycle or can you establish one color and leave it?

When you first get your lamp you have the option to create an account on our website. From there you can choose a range of colors you'd like your lamp to light up when you tap it. Then the lamp will pick a color from that range at random. If you only want one color you can set the range to be very small, or if you want many you can set the range larger. Q: Can I buy 3 individual ones and have them in 3 different states and all be connected?

Yes, three individual lamps can be in different states and still be able to connect to one another!

Q: Besides it being on, How long does the light of the friends color last? Is it for as long as they touch it or for a certain amount of time?

The default length of time the light stays on is 1.5 hours, but you can set it to be 30 minutes, 4 hours, 8 hours, and 24 hours. It will slowly fade throughout the duration of the time you pick. That being said, if you were to receive a friend's color and then tap yours, it resets the timer. For example, if you have a 1.5 hour fade time set, and your friend taps it at 9 and you respond at 9:30, your lamp won't go off until 11.

Q: Is this lamp wifi capable or does it need to be plugged in to a router?

The lamp is Wi-fi capable i.e. it can connect directly to your Wi-Fi. If you prefer not to connect it to your Wi-Fi directly, each lamp comes with a "Filimin Bridge" which does connect directly to your router. The lamp then connects wirelessly to the bridge.
