Fits perfectly on my husband who has a normal sized head with no hair. Would buy again.

This cap is just as warm as a wool cap I have from another, very old and trusted brand, yet is it's at least 4 times thinner. IDK how that works, but it's fantastic. It's the LIFA polypropylene - it's much better if you're hiking that wool, as it wicks sweat away. Absolutely fantastic - definitely worth it. And much more packable than worsted wool - major bonus.

This all-polypro beanie is long enough to come down over the ears even with the bottom turned up. The navy blue color is attractive. If properly folded it can go in a coat or jacket pocket, important if the wearer comes inside and has to remove it.

I have very short hair the hat has extra material in the top that feels uncomfortable on my head and a little to small just covers the tops of my ears

Helly Hansen gear is all about the brand, they strategically over placed their logo on all their products to ensure to everyone what brand you're wearing, the beanie is too thin for winter and it don't really provide a tight fit, it has a small orange Helly Hansen logo on the front of the beanie, the only real use for it is to complement other Helly Hansen gear you may be wearing.
